If you never used a FP-

We have never used a FP-. We go in the fall or winter with low crowds and usually ride everything as much as we want with little or no wait. Just never felt the need to get the FP-. I am looking at the FP+ as a bonus like preferred seating for parades or fireworks at MK and touring the same way we have been. Is this the wrong way to go about it? Has anyone else never used a FP- and gone with the new FP+? How was it?

We're rope drop people and manage to do everything we want without a FP. I'm here this week. We have 2 days at MK and 2 days at EP planned. Well on day 1 at both parks we did almost everything we wanted. Day 2 is just filling in the couple of attractions we wanted to do but missed. The FP+ is like a bonus. I decided to pick wishes, electric parade and illuminations.

That's how we are looking at it. We never really got to the park in time to get good FP- times, so didn't really bother using it too much. I won't say never, because we have used it a few times when it worked out for us. I think that FP is a nice idea, but I am not about to alter our touring/vacation style just to utilize it.

I am excited that I will be able to know in advance that we will definitely ride Soarin at least once though!

I completely agree with everyone else!!!!!!The original FastPass ran out by 10 or 11. I heard that after the times were being enforced the original FastPass did not run out as fast. I still believe I will like FP+ much better.

We used FP- and FP+. Between the two of them, FP+ seems to work better for us. Your mileage may vary. It's all about what you value in your experience. I understand why some people are upset with the changes, however it's just not that big of a deal to me because I also did Disney before FP existed at all.

One caveat: I grew up with Cedar Point before anything like FP existed, so waiting for 1+ hours was not unheard of to go on some of the rides there, 2+ hours for new coasters. I guess I'm somewhat desensitized to it. =)

We have never done TSM. Last trip was the first time taking the kids to Hollywood Studios and I just skipped over it. They didn't care because they were so busy running back and forth between RnR and ToT. I am looking forward to being able to FP+ that one ride.

I think for us, FP+ will be fine. We used FP- in the past, but not a lot. Let's see - AK 2 (Safari and Everest), HS 2 (RRC twice), EP 2-3 (Soarin, TT, sometimes Mission), MK 2 (Space Mt, Splash or BTMRR). We go when the crowds are medium. For us, 3 will be great, but I wish it allowed for hopping, multiple uses on the same ride, and no tiers. I think those three changes would help.
