Don't hesitate to call!!! We had Chef Mickey's booked for breakfast on Sept. 30th before we decided to do MNSSHP that night. I really didn't want to cancel it and just assumed that any other day we could do it the week before would be booked solid with a lot of people still on free DDP at that time. Well, at my DH's insistence, I decided to try. I called this morning to see if they had ANYTHING available on Saturday the 29th. I was reallly just trying to appease DH.
She said they had several openings but none around the 8-9 time frame. We ended up with 10:10 reservations for 4. She also had a lot of other times after that.
So, the moral of this long story is "Don't be afraid to try to get something you want. You never know what's out there!".
