you might want to check Home Depot (online or the store). We just bought a new GE dryer today, and I think we did pretty good. The gas dryer was listed online at 269., but 319. at the store. I brought a printout of the online page to the store and they honored it with no problems. They also have a special running that if you spend 399+ on any appliance purchase, you will get up to a 50. rebate for delivery charges. The 399 doesn't have to be just the cost of the appliance, it could be delivery, extra warranty, etc. I think they are changing this policy on 12/16 (the 399 will have to be just the cost of the appliance). So, we got the dryer for 269, delivery of 50 (will be rebated), installation of 59., and 2 years warranty for 60. Plus, the dryer is actually bigger on the inside with slightly more functionality then the Whirpool we are replacing. In addition, they have promised delivery by this Wed. I am afraid this is too good to be true, and am waiting for the "other shoe to drop". Luckily, before we paid & left the store, I noticed the guy forgot to charge us for installation :sad2: , and had him correct it. I could see it all now- "but lady, it says here deliver, nothing about installation" :earseek: and then I would have to hurt somebody....

you wouldn't believe it, but i just returned a three year old fridge from costco. we had to haul it back to the store, but they gave us our entire purchase price back. even the people at customer service didn't think we would get it back, but the service manager on the phone had basically asked us "are you no longer satisfied with your refrigerator?" and when we said "no" he told us to bring it back to the store for a full refund.

That is awesome!! WE bought a side by side a yr ago august and its driving us nuts! You cant get a damn thing in it, and the ice maker causes frost all over the hole it comes out of, so we end up with frost running out. I cant stand this fridge, i should call home depot and see if they have a similar policy. Oh what id give to get ride of the beast!
