If you like or hate Cape May...Where are you from?

I have noticed on these boards that people either love or hate WDW seafood joints like Cape May or Fultons. I am curious if it is related to the reveiwers geographic location. So...do you like Cape May, and where are you from?

I am from Florida, originally from Long Island, so I've had good fresh seafood in my time. My DH requested Cape May on our upcoming trip, and I don't want him to be disappointed

I live on the west coast of Canada. Grew up on the EAst Coast. Spent almost thirty years working in Massachusetts and visiting family in the Boston area.
I really like seafood.
Cape May is a nice buffet, but it is cleary not a Clam Bake. There are clams, mussels, corn and clam chowder. Sometimes there is a white fish: either sole or turbut. Some nights there is a special on crabs legs: get a side for $8.00.

All in all, I like it; but definitely do not love it nor hate it.

Hate WDW seafood, hate seafood in all of Florida, and hate seafood most everywhere except for East Baltimore and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. There is definately a geographical link here, I'v noticed it on discussions about Coral Reef before.

New Jersey here. We get great fresh seafood, and I agree that the clam bake at the Cape May is very poor. Went there once, and won't go back. But I disagree about Florida seafood. We vacation every year in the Destin area, and the seafood there is just wonderful.

Disney is not famous for seafood, therefore you will get good seafood, not great seafood and to expect it, is to set yourself up for disapointment. We like Cape May more for the nonseafood items.

There are many areas of Florida with very good seafood, Disney is not one of them.

We are from Halifax Ma. which is right next to Plymouth and not far from Cape Cod. We have fresh fish all the time and saying that: We did not care for Cape May at all. Sorry!!!!!!!!

From NY but all of my family is from MA and spent many summers there. I LOVE Cape May it is one of my favorites. But, I also like it for non-seafood items as well.
