...can you still apply the code? Do they just refund the discount using the same manner that you paid (cc, check, etc.)?

They will apply the discount if it is available at the resort you booked for your time frame. If all the discounted rooms are sold out when you check, you won't get it applied to yours.

As to the difference if you are paid in full, you can either get a refund by the method you paid or they can credit it to your account when you checkin for room purchases etc.

This is the main reason I never pay in full as it is confusing sometimes if they need to refund you any money. I pay my deposit put the balance in the bank and draw interest on it.

I was just thinking that if I switched from my current room-only to a package and it is just outside the 45 days, I would go ahead and pay (with a Disney cc, which has no interest on WDW packages for 6 months, so I wouldn't be losing any money). If a code came out (this is for Jan.), I would call as soon as possible and just have them credit my cc. Will that work? Thanks.
