It would appear it is/was designed as an attack on servers, not the PC end-user. Another reminder though, to have a good, installed, operating AND UP-TO-DATE anti-virus program on your own PC, scanning BOTH your computer, and emails.

Thanks Dan. I could check my e-mail when I got up at 6:00, but couldn't get on the web until about 6:45 this morning. My cable modem was flashing all the right lights at me so I Knew it was working like it should. I guess your link explains the problem.

Someone was also telling me about a new email virus. The email will have a title called Dream Vacations or something like that. He said they got it at work.

And please- before you call your ISP to troubleshoot your connection today, wait a few hours. Especially if you have connection through AT&T and Verizon

I work for a router manufacturer/help desk and we are having problems getting through to those companies so that we can work to get them back online, because they are being slammed with calls from end users.
