The buses will start running by 7am at the latest (probably earlier). When you get to AK, go to the CM with the clipboard and she will have a list of those with the early ADR's and will admit you.

Yup. There will be CM's directing you - and also to make sure you don't go into any areas you aren't supposed to go. It's easy.

There is a tall ladder and a CM furtively pushing guests up and over the top.

Also don't worry if the CM's aren't letting you in until close to your ADR if you have one of the first ones of the day. I've had ADR's at MK for 8:05 and haven't been let in until 7:55. Which makes it a bit of a sprint down Main Street to get there in time. Sometimes because of something going on in other areas of the park; they just can't let guests through the gates until it's clear. The restaurant is going to realize that when no one turns up!

It's a bit of a hike across to Tusker House, so allow for that.

Make sure you have your confirmation #.... A CM will be at the entrance with a list of peope with ADR... They will check the list before they let you in... You will also need your park pass to enter....There are buses running very early to bring you to the park and when you get there, they have a sign for you to know where to go.

I didn't know they don't let cars in that early. I have an 8:10am ADR at AK and I just assumed I could drive there. If the park opens at 9am, does anybody know what time they start letting cars in?

It was a nightmare for us. I think we had reservations on an early entry day. We got there at least 30 minutes before our reservations. The lines were crazy and when we went up to the gate ( after getting lots of angry stares) the CM did not know what to do???? I had to go to the guest relations window and explain that we were there for our 8:00am meal and they just told us to cut the line and tell the CM! People were so angry with us thinking we were being rude. We ended up speed walking to make our reservation.

The time we got stuck at the gate at AK, they opened up at 8:00. We made our reservation, barely.

I seem to remember reading that they open the parking lot 2 hours before opening, but, do NOT quote me on that.

We'll be down at the world in about 22 days. I'll ask around and post as I can.

From what I have heard. AK, DS, and Epcot only open the parking lot 1 hour prior to the opening of the park. MK open 1 hour and half early.

I believe the three hour rule also counts for valet...They give you the pass at the gate if your doing valet your not.... I am also certain that the parking lots open before 8:00 AM for early ADR...

We had 8:00 ADR at Tusker when we had a car this past Jan.... We had no problem getting in to park early... I actually never even gave what time the lot openned a thought... It was open when we got there at about 7:40...

Why would they take your ADR if you had no way to park there??? There are many people that stay off site/ drive to the parks...The parking lots must all be open for the people arriving for ADR.
