do you have to use a park ticket to go to that restaurant?
We have a day that we are not going to use a park ticket but want to go a ADR in a park is that possible?

Park admission to the theme park is required if you want to dine inside the park. If you don't want to "waste" a park ticket for 1 adr you could dine at any of the resorts instead.

Yes, you have to have admission to that park to go to dinner. They will tell you that when you make your reservation.

The only restaurant "in" a park that you can make reservations and not go through that park's turnstile is the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. It has two entrances - one from the Animal Kingdom and one outside the park.

Unfortunately, there is no way for Disney to know that you are only going to dinner and then leave.
