do you have to use a park ticket to go to that restaurant?
We have a day that we are not going to use a park ticket but want to go a ADR in a park is that possible?

Park admission to the theme park is required if you want to dine inside the park. If you don't want to "waste" a park ticket for 1 adr you could dine at any of the resorts instead.:)

Yes, you have to have admission to that park to go to dinner. They will tell you that when you make your reservation.

The only restaurant "in" a park that you can make reservations and not go through that park's turnstile is the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. It has two entrances - one from the Animal Kingdom and one outside the park.

Unfortunately, there is no way for Disney to know that you are only going to dinner and then leave.
