If you have AirTran booked, check your flight numbers again!

AirTran changed our return flight number....no warning, they just decided to change it. Luckily, the departure time didn't change, but the fact that we are going to be dependent on DME makes this sort of change an important piece of info to know about. I just got off the phone with a very sweet and kinda sleepy CM that fixed it all for me.

There is nothing like being 4 sleeps away from vacation and finding out that there has been an important change in the plans.....not because the company that you have paid to provide you with a service has taken any sort of measure to inform you, but because you are down to the nitty gritty anal retentive detail checking portion of the planning.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Great "heads up!". We have air-tran booked in a couple of weeks, and I wouldn't have checked until 24 hours prior to departure to check our seats!

We had something different happen to us last weekend.My daughter was checking her e-mail and she had a e-mail from US Air changing our flight times and lay overs,etc.Since we are all traveling together (6 adults and 1 child) and I had many problems booking our flights we all checked to make sure that we all had been changed to the same as hers,we had been,but instead of leaving to go to Orlando at 5:45 am now we are leaving at 7:00 am.Of course we are getting into Orlando now at 11:25 instead of 9:00 am.They also changed our return flights too.This may seem like a small problem but when you live 2 hours from the airport and the check in takes longer now than last year and you are traveling with several people it makes alot of difference.We always want the first or second flight out going to Orlando,because,if any of our flights are delayed then we have trouble connecting on our other flight and also don't want to waste a day down there by arriving late and not getting to do much.Lets face it,like most places time is money at WDW and we all need to get our moneys worth.So,really I hope they do not do anything else to our flights between now and Nov.We have to take 2 planes each way and making any changes even on one flight can mess everything else up on the others.I guess,we should be glad they did e-mail us,and now I think we'll start checking our flights every few days just to make sure they haven't changed them again.
