what are you going to do. I'm going to get all the decorating done and do cookies, cookies, cookies. Yum. I hope it storms. It's friday so not such a big deal.

Unfortunately we won't have a snow day tomorrow...the college NEVER cancels classes..esp the last day of classes before finals.

my one dd already had a professor tell her tomorrow will be a problem. Classes may very well be cancelled and it's the last class before finals. Kids will miss critical info.

I'm going to cook the kids a big breakfast, take them out into the snow for as long as they can stand it, bring them in, warm them up w/ some hot chocolate. Then, I'll let them play, fix some lunch, get the little one down for a nap and make a couple of batches of cookies with DD. I'll let DD have a friend over and while they play, I'll address my Christmas cards.

That's the plan, anyway :) We'll see what my kids actually do and what I don't.

Up goes the tree. But it has to be bad here before I'll get a snow day.

I go to school in Indiana....I was in class under a tornado warning....they don't cancel.

Hoping we just get a delay so we can sleep in. I'm sooooooooo not a morning person, especially when it's freezing outside! If by chance, school is cancelled, I have some chocolate covered pretzels I need to make for a party Friday night, so I'll have the kids help me with that.

I'm pretty much SOL if classes are canceled tomorrow. Last day before finals here too. Have to hand in my English portfolio which is litterally my entire grade for that class. And my soc prof is supposed to go over everything that's going to be on the final. I want this snow bad, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they can keep things running until noon tomorrow.

i have finals next week, so if i dont have class, ill probably start working on my reviews for them...

DS will sleep in and I will walk to work. I'm 4 blocks away from my office! :)

The high school I work at never never cancels. I will be there, unless my DDs grade school cancels, but I doubt that also.

I'm going to clean the house from top to bottom, organize the closets and get a good workout in... :rotfl2: I'm going to try at least. It should be easy with all three kids and DH home. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'll just sit at the window and watch it melt... then think about how much further south I have to move!

I'm betting that we'll have a snow day tomorrow.
My plan.....baking cookies. Lots of cookies!
Unfortunately the kids will still have swim practice. That is never canceled.

Day off at DS' school anyway, despite the "wonderful" weather we will be receiving overnight! Plan will be cookies, cards and probably some chaos with all 3 kids at home! But, at least DH is off for 5 days in a row starting tomorrow!!!!! :cool1: :lovestruc

My daughter may havea snow day off from school, but I work for mass transit and when it snows it only means we work at the least our own shift if not many others overtime!

What a great day you have planned!

That is what we would do when I was little on a snow day.

Fridays are my usual days off so I will be wrapping gifts, making some homemade chicken soup, cleaning, laundry and hopefully decorating the tree! We rented Mr and Mrs Smith so maybe that will be tomorrow night's plan. Can't wait to play in the snow! :cold:
Last winter I was pregnant so I stayed in most of the snow days but not this year!!!

DS has a snow day from school
I still have to work 930-5! And tonight is our small work Christmas party (at work) so we're suppose to be staying later too.
DH is working overtime today also
