If you had to remove one attraction at WDW, which would it be?

I also think Ruthie made some wonderful points. And when people ask my advice about rides, I always preface it by saying that just because I don't like it doesn't mean they won't. I think everything should try an attraction once. However I just don't think AE is very Disney. And it's the one ride I had no desire to go on ever again. But on two other occasions when I was with first timers and they wanted to do it, I did it cause I'm a good friend. And in both cases the others involved said "We should have listened to you. It's just not very Disney. As boring as Snow White is, at least it fits within the Disney universe.

Here are my choices

MK- Swiss Family Robinson (or is it Tarzan now?) Treehouse- I just don't have the energy to climb all over the place with two small children when it is 100 degrees outside. If they would install some type of elevator, I could handle it (however, I guess that would take away from the ride, wouldn't it?)

Also, I guess I don't want it gone, but Small World drives me insane. Even my DS at 3 was driven crazy by it. We thought he would sing and love it, instead he started spraying his spray bottle at the kids and little ducks saying "I shoot the ducks".

EPCOT- I like the comment that Innoventions is too intellectual for those on vacation. I agree with Body Wars for the simple fact that it needs updated. I feel sorry for Elisabeth Shue every time I see it.

MGM- I haven't seen Sounds Dangerous but I will say that since everyone else seems to think so. Also, The Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground, my kids love but I swear it is 20 degress hotter in there.

AK- I agree that if we could lower the temp inside that park it would be helpful. The Boneyard while one of my kids favorites always seems to be the hottest place in the whole park. I would get rid of or rather change the Tarzan Rocks show. It is too loud. I had to walk out with my youngest DS because of the noise.

My husband and I thought The Living Seas was pretty lame when we were there last week. If you've been to an aquarium then you've seen everything there. Also, I was not impressed with Conservation Station in AK. Once we got there and walked around a little I was ready to leave. My two daughters did not have much to say about that one. In MK, Raceway has seen better days, skipped that because the line was too long. Ariel's Grotto is too big just for pictures and autographs. That area should be turned into some type of ride, maybe an Atlantis one. I think they should have done a different type of Alladin ride, not a ride that's like Dumbo but one more like Peter Pan. We skipped Sounds Dangerous because I assumed it was like the other sound effect shows that we have seen in MGM the other two times we visited.

I like Cranium Command! As for dated, don't boys still wear jeans and t-shirts?

There's much worse in Epcot IMO. I would get rid of the latest lame version of Journey into Imagination (but keep Figment!) and somehow update the Living Seas. They're both pathetic IMO.

I had the same experience! LOL! ;)

As for Body Wars and Star Tours...I loved them both! It's very disappointing to hear so many people hated it so much.

I have to agree with The Living Seas - Maybe I'm spoiled with other Aquariums, but I have never liked this attraction. Esp. the "ride to nowhere".

Tigger22

MK- The new Tiki Birds (bring back the old version)!

Epcot- The boat ride in Mexico

MGM- Star tours

AK- can't think of any (haven't seen the new dinoland rides yet).

Hello - I usually live over at the DL board but since my summer WDW trip is coming I have to get in the spirit of things.
I have to say that one of the things I look forward to about going to WDW is getting to experience the rides at MK that are no longer at DL (like the Country Bears, Swiss Family Treehouse, etc.)
So my nomination would have to be for...
Dinosaur at AK

Yeah, what the heck IS with the Living Seas? I agree, especially that ride to nowhere! The best part of that attraction is the outside ! (do like restaurant tho...)

Sounds dangerous.....dinosaur...

We were so glad that these were walk ons and we didn't have to waste alot of time in line.

Is that really Elisabeth Shue in Body Wars?

As for the ride to get voted off....

Magic Kingdom: Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Pirates, Polynesia and....camels? Never made sense to me.

Epcot: Food Rocks.

Disney-MGM Studios: MuppetVision 3D needs a new movie.

Animal Kingdom: Everything in Dinoland U.S.A. except Dinosaur. A cheesy carnival with unimaginative area music.

MK - Snow White, Astro Orbiter, the Riverboat (never have done Timekeeper or CoP in five trips - am I missing something?)

MGM - Indiana Jones (very dated - Disney could do better than this after all these years) and the movie making tour in the back lot.

Epcot - the Land (actually, a lot of other things at Epcot)

AK - Conservation Station (even with young kids).

Although my yougest is now 9, Disney can't get rid or Small World, Race Cars, Country Bear Jamoboree, Tiki Birds or Dumbo (when they were little they loved them and the youngest still like them). On the other hand, none of the kids ever liked Snow White - a very dark ride and story. and Astro-Orbiter is a happy-go-pukey type ride that I can't handle (looks neat though). Love Alien Encounter and Star Tours but agree that Body Wars needs a makeover.

Here's my contribution:

MK: Swiss Family Treehouse, without a doubt. The Wedway Peoplemovers (or Tomorrowland Transportation, whatever it's called these days) is a very, very close second! But, at least you can sit down on that one.

EC: Every movie in World Showcase - B-O-R-I-N-G! Throw in El Rio Del Tiempo. Not nuts about Food Rocks or Circle of Life movie in The Land, or even Living Seas or some of the others named from FutureWorld, but I'd definitely keep them over the lame stuff in World Showcase if I had to choose.

AK: I agree -- DinoLand looks like it was a project handed over to newbie Imagineers, saying: "You've got $1,000, make something out of this barren area." And, so they did...sort of.

MGM: All of New York Street is a wasteland, whether you're on the tram or walking to the HISTK play area -- I suppose except as a holding area for Osbourne Lights crowds at Christmas time... Also, I throw in a vote for Sounds Dangerous -- I think this is Sound show #3 for this theater and they keep getting worse instead of better...
