Just my two cents worth...

We had a group of 12 in August that included 3 yo twins. My DH tried to talk me into BLT saying that BLT would be most convenient to MK, going back and forth for naps, et...I went against the grain and went with AKV thinking there would not be much back and forth, etc... WELL, I wish I had listened to him (don't tell him that, LOL)! Inevitably, my brother and SIL forgot their food, pacifiers, etc...had to back for naps several days. That same trip, we moved to the Yacht Club...great resort! Very convenient to Epcot, DHS, and the pool is wonderful!

So, given the age of your child, I would go with BLT and BCV.

Good luck with your decision! :)

I'm no help because I like all of them, but did want to point out that the 7 month window is open right now. I just finished booking my first two weeks of May trip and there are currently days unavailable but that is for a studio at BCV. Not sure what size unit you are booking, but I would start looking soon. Btw, I hate split stays, so avoid them at all cost. Packing and unpacking and being without a home possibly for most of the day is too much of a disruption for me. Some folks like split stays, but not our family. Good luck.

We stayed 8 nights at GFVs last month (I own at SSR) and I can tell you, even though I was on the monorail, I did very much miss walking back and forth from BLT to MK. We have annual passes so would go just for a few hours or breakfast, etc. so I missed the walk. (Although that would not make me want to stay at BLT over GFVs. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did and it was VERY spacious).

I would choose, BLT and BCVs. You have the walking to the MK and monorail access with BLT and then I would switch to BCVs and have the boat to HS (although I walked this too) and Epcot (although you can walk) and it would be good for your 4 year old at night to be able to walk around the Boardwalk and if he falls asleep in his stroller, you and your mom can still be "out" on the Boardwalk.

Let us know what you decide.

I am with you! Although I haven't done a split stay, that is all I would be thinking about is the unpacking and packing and unpacking again! It looks like the OP is staying two weeks from her signature but even then, I think I would want to just stay put, although I am Type A so that doesn't help. It would just make it less stressful for me but I have a sister that could probably care less if she moved three times during a week.

So, you just booked your 7 months for May. If I want to book for September 2015, I need to book in February, is that correct? Thanks.

Although the WL is my favorite resort, I would choose BLT and BCV. BLT has the beyond amazing walk to MK and the setting on Bay Lake is beautiful. BVC has the great location for EP and HS. This way you could experience staying at both the MK resort area and EP area.

Have a great trip:thumbsup2

Yes in February. Heck, our May trip is 18 days and all at the bcv. I like to unpack and hunker down.

Us too! 18 days is wonderful! ENJOY!
I would do the same and feel so happy about it being home for 18 days :)

We will be back in February pre-cruise but doing BLT.

Happy planning!
