If you had to pick 1 and only 1 restaurant to eat at which one would it be?

This can be in the park, at a Disney resort, Downtown Disney or even off- Disney property near-by. If you can state why it's your number one choice that would be appreciated, too. :cheer2:

O'Hana's at the Poly. We just love it. It the morning it is bustling with Mickey and friends and the atmosphere is so fun and for dinner if you can get a window seat you can enjoy dinner with a back drop of WISHES fireworks. Sometimes they even turn down the music and let all enjoy. It is so comfortable for us (DH,dd,dd & me) afterall ohana means Family :grouphug:

 :wave2: princess: princess:

I think the OP was wanting to know about places at DLR in California!! One that I really enjoy is Mimi's (on Harbour). The food is great, HUGE portions (can split), and reasonable prices! I also like the chicken at the place on Main Street. I am not remembering the name of the place right now! :goodvibes

Always the Blue Bayou. We try to get one special meal there everytime we go - there just isn't anything more Disney than that!

If it were just me and my wife, it would be the Blue Bayou. It's got a very nice setting and the food is excellent! However, with our 2 kids, I would have to say it would probably be Goofy's Kitchen. The kids love the character interaction and we all love the food there.

Blue Bayou and second(sorry I can never pick just one :earboy2: )would be Ariel's Grotto. The kids and I love both of these places soooo much!!

Ohhh tough question- All in all Id have to say Jack in the Box (yes the fast food place) but once my taco need was taken care of....

Id have to say Plaza Inn and their 3 cheese chicken alfredo...

Rancho de Zocola (or whatever it is called). The mexican food place in Frontierland next to Big Thunder. However, I haven't been there since they change the menu. Here's hoping the tostada salad is the samething as the Taco Salad they had last time we were there.

Second Choice the plaza inn for pasta marinara.

With all adults and money not a factor, the Napa Rose, however if DS is along (he's 3), then I like the little food stand next to the Snow White show for bratwurst w/kraut and he can have deep-fried cheese nuggets.

Riverview Terrace on the patio! It can't be beat for an outstading combo of scenery, food, and ambiance.

If it's just DH and me: Napa Rose

If it's DH and 2 DDs (5 & 9) for dinner: Goofy's Kitchen

If it's DH and 2 DDs for lunch: White Water Snacks @ GCH

Sorry I couldn't just pick one!!! But different occasions call for different choices!

If I had a second choice it would be the French Market in NOS. Great outside dining, music, scenery, and jamblaya!

Another vote for Blue Bayou for a one time thing, especially if you are lucky enough to get a waterside table. What's better than being inside Pirates with the fireflies and sounds of the bayou? The foods pretty good, but DL isn't about the food. Every DL lover should do Blue Bayou at least once.

BUT, I also gotta say, Goofy's Kitchen is the one place I feel like I need to visit each and every visit. At 14, my DS still insists upon it. It's home.

I'll have to give a range of options too.

If money is no object, then Napa Rose in GC is considered one of the best restaurants in California - but it will also cost you up to $200 for 2.

If that money is out of your price range (as it was for us) then Blue Bayou is a good experience - decent food, great atmosphere, great service and inside the park (and inside a ride too!). We really enjoyed it, and because t was inside the park found it very relaxing.

BUT - if you asked my kids, they would say Rainforest Cafe (In DTD) which they adored - again, decent food and a brilliant atmosphere.

And DOUBLE BUT - Character breakfasts are fun too - we did the Princess breakfast (we have girls aged 9 and 6) and that was a lot of fun, though the food was pretty ordinary and others have complained here about having a bad time there).

Blue Bayou, no other restaurant interests me. Monte Cristo and a Baked Caramel Apple! However, now that I've joined WW, the Monte Cristo is out of the running.
