If you had to choose: Prime Time or Sci-Fi?

Sci-Fi

The only way we've been able to solve this dilemma is by squeezing both in during our vacations....:) But, if you can pick only one, considering your kids' ages, I'd pick the Sci-Fi.

We've been to both and prefer Sci-Fi for lunch and 50's at dinner. 50's Prime Time can be really fun if you have a good server who "plays the part", but the past few times, our servers have not been that great. Sci-Fi is fun because of the drive in theme and that you get to eat in the cars!

We've been to both and prefer Sci Fi (kids are 8, 17 and 18). I did not think the food was better at 50's PTC, though they did have more things on the menu I thought I'd like, so mroe choices. I always get a cheeseburger and onion rings at Sci Fi, and a milkshake. :goodvibes

My family loves Sci Fi. We try to eat there at least once every trip. I ate at Prime Time with some friends a few years ago, and while I personally enjoyed the interaction with the CMs, I know that DS and DH would not have as much fun with it as I did. We don't think the food at Sci Fi is all that great (we usually just stick to burgers, fries, and milk shakes), but the atmosphere definitely makes up for it. I know some people don't like that you can't really hold a conversation with the other members of your party since you're placed in separate rows of the cars, but I think that's one of the perks. I can sit there quietly and drink my milk shake and just RELAX.

I'd personally vote neither. lol I don't care for either. But if you're talking strictly in quality of food, I'd guess I'd say 50's PT. The fried chicken there is good. I found the pot roast to be WAY too salty for my taste (and I like salt ;)). Our shakes were decent, and the onion rings we got as an app were pretty standard, but good. Plus I personally HATED the schtick there, but that's subjective, of course.

PrimeTime 50's would be my choice.

I haven't been here, but I have been to Sci-Fi. The food was ok, wasn't bad, but it wasn't really exciting.
It was cute to first walk into the dining area and sit in the car, but the cute wore off by the time we got our food.

For someone who hasn't been, it is fun to go, but the fun doesn't last. I found that the "trailers" showing were like watching commercials. It sort of ruined the "atmosphere" of the drive-in.

Agree!!!
