If you had to choose only one DVC resort

We voted OKW because it suits all of our needs. When the kids were little there was enough room for them to run. There is enough room to bring family. When we get older we'll fit right in because it is laid back resort.

We like BWV, BCV and VWL a lot but if we had to pick just one it would be BWV.

We have 2 contracts at OKW and BWV. We would be happy if we were restricted to our home resorts and could never stay anyway else.

If I had to choose between the 2 and could only stay at one on points, it would narrowly be OKW.

Ooops!!!!!!!!!! I completely forgot all about our add-on contract at SSR!!!

Hmmm... I would prefer to be able to use my SSR points at either BWV or OKW but again just at OKW if I could only chose one.

Now if I was restricted to using the SSR points at only SSR, it won't be the end of the world either. After all, is there such a thing as a truly BAD DVC resort?

We own at BCV and it is very nice -- they are all nice-- but if I had to pick one it would be OKW. I guess I am part of the Geritol set because I just LOVE that place! I like that it is all DVC and so relaxed. The new slide makes it perfect!

I have 150 pts. each at BCV & OKW. We bought BCV first, then added OKW. I could easily use those points at only those places. If I were forced to consolidate... I'd pick OKW. I love BCV location... in winter. We love to walk to Epcot and the Studios when the weather is cool. Can't see us doing that in summer. I also love the size and style of OKW. I WISH my house was as big (and nice) as the Grand Villa!

BWV it is close to our favourite park and has great amenities and nightlife and dining right on the doorstep.

They're all a nice place to visit but we would be more than happy if OKW was the only place we could stay. We've owned there for 5 years now and still always look forward to returning. Just love the atmosphere and themeing.

Except for the occasional change of pace trip, we are already staying at our favorite resort most of the time... and loving it! We would be perfectly content to stay there 100% of the time if it became necessary.

Wow, I don't think I could pick just one! DH's absolute favorite (OK, the ONLY one for him) is OKW, and I've got to admit that when we go together, that's my favorite too. However, I go twice a year-once with DH and once solo, and I don't like OKW's studios. When I go solo, my favorite is BCV. I really don't know what I'd do if we could only pick one to stay at. I guess I'd pick OKW, and not stay at DVC on my solo trips.

What a hard decision!

I guess I have to go with BCV because of the new Marketplace. I loved having the soda refills and the clam chowder was great
The pool is also a big draw.

But, having said that, my first "home" was BWV and there is nothing that compares to the feeling I get when I stay there! If they added a Marketplace type area to the INSIDE of the building (not down on the Boardwalk) I might have to change my mind!

That is why we own points at both!

We own at BWV and would be happy to stay there every trip, but I think I would lean to the BCV if I definitely had to pick just one...but then again we can stay longer at the BWV with a standard view which is a key point...but I have yet to even stay anywhere else...I do not think I can answer this question. (but I voted BCV).

Have to go with SSR, love the cinvienence of DD, PI and WS. Also it's not as crowded as some others, another choice would have to be BC or BW due to thier closness to Epcot my favorite park.. Managed to get to both the wine and food fest in Oct and the Flower Fest in April.. WOW what more could you ask for. Going to have to make Wine and food fest an anual event..

We own at BCV and would be very happy to stay there every time we go. However, it's alot of fun staying at the other DVC resorts and being able to enjoy them to. Our heart belongs to BCV though. We love the atmosphere and the location is perfect for us.

OKW - when I brought OKW was the ONLY DVC resort. No plans to even built another one.

I was very, very happy then and I would be again.

Of course I also have small contracts at BWV and VWL. I would love one at BCV - but I got to save for my retirement....

SSR for us, love the feel, the look, the location, everything about it.

To us one of the best things about SSR is the fact that it feels more like apartments than a hotel. For a couple of weeks a year we can pretend that we are staying in our own apartment right in the middle of Disney. Apart from OKW the others would feel more like staying in a hotel to us.

We love the easy access to Downtown Disney. Lots of great restaurants and places to have a drink. Also really looking forward to the new Irish pub that they are doing. Sounds like a good place to relax and have something to eat or a beer

One huge bonus for me is that SSR feels like it's got it's own golf course too. As a keen golfer, having the pro shop in the resort and the first tee just accross the bridge is perfect. I know OKW looks over much of the course, but for ease of access SSR is the place for me.

I would love to vote for VB as it is unequivocally my favorite, but as it is not an option in this poll I would have to say BCV, with BWV a close second, OKW also a strong contender. Not particularly fond of VWL. And having done a sneak peek......no desire whatsoever to stay at SSR. Have yet to visit HH....will..... but suspect that I will not like the lack of oceanfront property.

If OKW is in the lead of BCV, How come i have a hard time getting a room at my Home Resort BCV
