If you had the power to design a new ride at Disney....what would it be?

I'm a total coaster addict, so it would have to be a BIG coaster! There's a cracker at Alton Towers in UK, called Oblivion ( look here

.. its a vertical drop coaster with a true free-fall feel! (and I'm a skydiver!).. it's a bit short overall, but I'm sure disney could enlarge the experience!! Mike

whoa! that's not even a train...it's a falling stage!! haha! looks intense. I LOVE skydiving...only been once...and it was tandem..but it was really really fun. went for my birthday last year. I felt like puking when we were waiting.....but the drop was totally worth the money. very addicting!

If I could design a new ride for wdw it would be for Epcot. I would love to see maybe something to do with maybe Japan. I love that country and it's so rich in history it would be nice to have either a ride or show installed there.

I hould like to design a coster of some sort themed around the "door warehouse" scene in Monsters Inc. How cool would that be? It would definitely be a HUGE project!

I would design a slow-moving indoor ride with a Mary Poppins theme. That is such a great film--I'm sure Disney could do a GREAT job with that! Perhaps carousel horses could even be the ride vehicles (but they would go straight through the ride, not around in circles like a carousel).

I totally agree with about Japan. I love that country. I also see that you are involved with the Disney College program. What are the requirements for that? I was going to go see what it was all about because they visiting campuses here in Texas.

A couple I have thought of in the past...

I would have a neat water ride similar to Kali River Rapids (but longer and better ) that would be called Kuzcotopia. You know from the Emperor’s New Groove

I would also have a neat smaller coaster based off of the Rescurers down under. You’d almost be made to feel like you are on the Eagle flying around trying to escape from the bad guys.

I know you posted a serious question - but please allow me to dream. My ideal ride would be a giant two-way canon from Toon Town in MK to my back yard. That way I could visit MK whenever the fancy took me - which would be often.

I think it would be great to have a sit down ride (like Peter Pan and Snow White) which included something from every disney animated movie made (as in Bambi, Dumbo, Fox and the Hound, Robin Hood and the list goes on). This way none of those great movies would never be forgotten. I'm not sure if I would include it at MK or MGM/Disney Studio's.

Haha! let's dream even bigger, teleportation from park to park. this of course, only being available at WDW. Profits would soar, new "no line" technology would be incorporated. and all prices would decrease to a mind stopping $2.50. Making WDW truly, the happiest place in the world.
