what would you name him or her?

No, I am not pregnant but am curious as dh and I were discussing this earlier.

With dd, it was so easy. We had no trouble naming her at all.

With ds, we had the hardest time naming him! Dh and I did not have the same taste in boy names so it was a hard one for us. I love what we eventually did decide on but there was a period of time there where I wondered if we would EVER pick out a name for him that we BOTH liked!

I honestly haven't a clue what we would name a 3rd child if we were to have another one!

SOOO, if you had to name a boy right now AND a girl right now what would you name them? Or would you be in a similar boat with us and have a hard time picking a name?

DH and I had the hardest time naming our DS. We finally settled on Alexander. So I tell everyone to use Alexander, because that name is AWESOME! :cool1:

Oh, and dd who is 5 and overhears everything (of course!) put her 2 cents in and let us know that she likes the name Zoe for a girl. Ds who is only 2yo and really didn't know what was going on then pipes up that he likes Elmo. Yeah, I'm thinking the boy may have seen Sesame Street one too many times...but it was cute! ;)

All my girls are T's, so probably Tori (Victoria) after my DH's sis who sadly passed of Parkinson's. DS is a jr, so have no clue on a son.
We were blessed with 4, thankfully that shop has been closed!! :rotfl2:

DH and I had a lot of fun picking out names for our boys! It was pretty easy for us to pick out boys names....but it was a good thing we did not have girls...we could not pick one out! We are pretty happy as a family of four, but if we are ever blessed with another little one I would name him Riley James! If it were a girl....not sure:confused3

Ava Isabel for a girl, which is all I will be having, thank you.

For a boy, my husband wants Sean Gavin, and I like Ian Gavin, or Ian Sean/Gavin Sean to meet DH halfway. ;)

That is cute! My cousin had a baby yesterday and named her Zoe. I think it is an adorable name!

There are some names I really like but would have to discuss it with whomever I am having him/her with. I have a pretty ethnic last name so the name would have to work with it.

Girl:
Grace Anne or Brooklyn Grace...either way, we'd call her Gracie

Boy:
James Preston or Jayden Douglas or maybe Caden Douglas (we're torn between Jayden and Caden...not sure which we like better.)

I really like Grace for a girl and Nathaniel for a boy. But I have three running and screaming through my house now and that's enough:scared1:

if i found out i was having a baby i would just wait and poll the wise men and shepherds who be would arriving on my doorstep (dh and i decided we wanted 2 children long before either were conceived-when i was pregnant with our youngest dh was not going to take any chances with the "new baby smell"
convincing me otherwise so his vasectomy was schedualed for one week following my birth. between this and the fact that i am WELL into menopause-if i found out i was pregnant, let's just say that you would reccognize my home by the large star overhead and the gathering of farm animals on the front porch:rotfl:).

Girl name would probally be Kaitlyn Michelle and we would call her Katie. I also like Kaidyn, Kadee for a nickname, but DH doesn't like that. I also like Callie Michelle, or even Anna Michelle. If we have a girl her middle name will be Michelle after my aunt who passed away much to soon. When I was pg with my son our girl name was Lillian Michelle, but no way am I going to have a Will and a Lil, LOL!

Boys names we like include Marshall (we both love How I Met Your Mother), Jackson, and I also like Henry (I kinda like the nickname Hank) but our last also starts with an H so I don't think that will work.

Assuming that my husband has no say in it :rotfl: .........

If it were a girl either Audrey Marguerite or Cecilia Helene.

For a boy either Joseph Edward or Kevin Andrew.

We used the only two names we really liked on our first two. In fact, had DS been a girl we would have been in trouble--we never did find a second name we both liked for a girl. If it were ONLY my opinion which mattered and I HAD to come up with something today I guess it would be:

Boy: Tristan Erik
Girl: India Rose or Annika Rose (except my DD already has the middle name of Rose so I probably can't reuse that can I?:rotfl:)

It is a good thing I am not having more kids.

William Henry for a boy after my grandfather, Martha Caroline after my great gradmother for a girl.

It means she'll have 7 boys! :lmao:

It's funny you say that, as I said that as a young girl (I will never have boys) because both my parents immediate families were all girls like 90% ... I got married and had two kiddos; both boys!!!!! :rotfl2: Of course, realized later on that the male determines the sex of the child ... Nothing to do with my immediate family.
