But getting my family going is “so fun”. We have a Haunted Mansion VQ at 9:30
If we don’t make it to redeem it, and it drops off (I’m guessing?) can we try to join the 1200 VQ?

You can show up anytime after it’s been called. I road on Tuesday at 4:15pm with a vq that had been called back around 10:30am.

A few people have reported being denied when returning late but I never have. Just don’t saying when you scan in.

I actually got a message that my time had expired and nothing left to scan in. But that was over a month ago, may have changed.

You can still get to the code once it’s expired or they can scan your ticket/magic band. It may bring up an error message but the CM will clear it.

I took a screen shot of our VQ passes before they expired, and that way I would have them if they disappeared from the app when trying to use them late. We entered HMH late both days (one day by about 7 hours due to a flight delay, and one day by 30 minutes due to overlapping with our BB reservation), and no one said a thing.

Oh I had no idea you could try through the ticket. Couldn't get any code to show up for the life of me.

Yes, but it’s not really necessary. Disney is currently enforcing the end of the return time at any rides. It’s possible TBA will enforce on its opening weekend/during previews but that will probably be it. Its not currently enforced at HMH or in WDW at TBA or guardians.
