If you could do one new and exciting (and definitely different) thing when you go to WDW, what would you do?

You see, I have a friend who has "challenged" me to do something different when I go in a few weeks and I am absolutely stumped as to what to do. I can't think of anything new for food or for the parks in general or even anything around the resorts. I am truly stumped. So any ideas for anything anywhere in WDW would be great. It could be dining, something you do in the parks or even outside the parks, I don't really mind. I just need a few good ideas to do, so I figured I would come to my friends here for help, as you all always have great ideas.

Cheap is good too ;)

Oh and a tatoo is not an option for any smart alecks out there ;) :p

Don't they have parasailing at the Contemporary? That'd be awesome :)

How about getting a tatoo?

;)

:teeth:

Eat a chocolate covered strawberry from Gheradeli or the candy shop at MGM. Mmmmmmmm, I'm going to! From both! LOL! :p

Play "Dare" with the Tiki God's over in Adventureland at MK. Weave your way in and out of the totems three times without getting squirted. If they get you, you lose. If you make it, they lose. Ignore the strange looks of the people around you. :p

Surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon? (NOT FOR ME)

Oh I should add, I am a tad bit afraid of heights, but that is a cool idea there Marissa! If I get guts someday I'll try that one.

Gee... thanks Willy ;)

Maggie, you have a winner there with the Tiki Gods!!! I must say that at this point in my life, I am very good with ignoring strange looks from others while at WDW ;)

Luis just suggested playing "bowling" with the Kristos... while they are in their neat forms try to knock them all down  I'm glad he's staying at home ;)

This is really a challenge for me as I have been going off and on since I was a kid, there doesn't seem much left for me to do. So keep with the ideas and I am sure something will be good for me :)

Ya know, I've heard there are some very good places nearby where this could be done. Personally, I think you should seriously consider this as an option. In fact, there was a thread about this some time ago.... I believe there were even a few links posted... would you like me to locate them for you?

Take an "adopted" family along for free;) :p Just let me know what time you're leaving! We'd be both new and exciting, promise!

Go skinny dipping in your resort pool. :teeth:

Count all the ghosts in the Haunted Mansion......is there really 999?

Try to be one of the participants in the Indiana Jones Stunt Show and don't leave until you are picked......Wonder how many shows you would have to sit through?

Some of you all have great ideas!!! I really do appreciate this. Keep them coming though because I want to get as many ideas as possible. My friend didn't "approve" the fact that I am staying at OKW (a resort I'll probably never make it to again) as new and exciting

Gail & FINAN, I'd love to take you!!! But I don't think y'all will fit in my suitcase!

And Kimmie, hush it twit. If you don't, I'll make you get a tatoo the next time we are in WDW together ;) :p :teeth:

Acually, you can get a tatoo wanna be at several places. I remember the first time I got one and wore it home, DH almost had a fit. However, for mothers day 3 years ago, he got me a real one, hows that for coming around?

This is a true stumper Elaine, except, did you get the Hidden Mickey book? You could get a laser pointer and show off to your friends where the hidden ones are, they don't have to know you studied before going.

Dive in the tank at the Living Seas.....................

Sheesh... Dippy friend ya got there.

Okay, but you first. I'll watch and take pictures.

If I was with you Elaine, I'd do it!! I would love to....but need someone else to do it too :teeth:

A tour?? Or too many $$$ Behind the Seeds tour. Have you done that one?
Free tours at the resorts. I believe there are several.

How about some of the free tours? You could do the AKL lobby tour, the WL tour, etc. I think there is also a free tour of the Morocco pavilion.

If you dont mind paying, and havent already done them, how about Backstage Magic, or Dolphins in Depth, or one of the other tours?

You could always get a henna tattoo! That's close enough, with no pain! ;)

This is turning into another ya-ya thread, this should be moved to the other ya-ya thread.:teeth:

Yep, I have done a tour before so I am not sure if my "dippy friend" (ZIPPIT Kim!) there would approve of that as new and exciting since I've already been backstage at MK & Epcot.

I do have that Hidden Mickey book, Marsha and if anything thank you so much for reminding me to put that in my suitcase! The only bad thing about your idea though is she reads the boards (I met her here too) so I think she might catch on. But I really wanted to take that and find as many hidden Mickeys as possible.

I wish I could do one of the deep sea stuff but I am not a certified scuba diver so that is kind of out. I've also rented boats, gone horseback riding and been there for rope drops at MK and Epcot (for WS). So this really is getting tough. Thanks for all the ideas though :)

Do the Aqua at Living Seas. You don't have to be certified to do this one. We did Dolphins in Depth and you don't have to be certified for that either.

One of these days when we go down for more than a long weeked we definately want to try this:

Epcot Seas Aqua Tour Book through Disney Tours @ (407) 939-8687, credit card required. Note: No certification is required for this tour. Dive equipment and gear are provided (bring your own swimsuit), as are locker room, refreshments, group photo and a T-shirt. Family cannot come into backstage area. No expectant mothers; no cameras or video; no jewelry (watches are ok). Cancellation is 48 hours prior, limit of 12 guests per tour. Admission: park Admission not required. Escort from Guest Relations, before and after tour. (Note: spectators WILL need park admission. They will view from 2nd story of LS)
