I vote to have Eisner resign, and the sooner the better. All the other options are, to some extent at least, merely symptoms of a larger problem, while current management policies - represented by Eisner - is the real problem. Now, I fully realize he is not personally responsible for every little element of "bad show" or "dumb" budget cutback seen in the parks. He is, however, ultimately responsible (the buck stops here) for setting the current and future agenda of the company - an agenda which is most certainly destroying the parks as we once knew them.
That's not very well said, I know, but accurate enough.
I'd love to have restored park hours, but given respectable attendance levels a (new) future management team even half interested in creating "magical" parks would probably do something about that anyway. We might see 11 p.m. or something instead of midnight, but that one hour isn't really the point. Also, with four parks (not to mention the rest of the WDW resort) you really need multiple major new attractions every year anyway. Not all need be pure "E" tickets perhaps, as we need a balance of B-C-D tickets. Indeed, these "minor" attractions are part of what is lacking now, and one "E" ticket a year won't help that. Finally, something is almost going to have to be done about transportation at some point. Again, a management team which sees the wisdom of park investment can solve this challenge; Eisner can't seem to even understand it.
