Beach Club, without a shadow of a doubt. Why? 2 reasons:
(1) Art, the Greeter... he's one of the nicest guys I've EVER met, and when I once heard of someone referring to the Beach Club as "Art's House", what can I say, it REALLY fit!
(2) 12 years ago when my dad was recovering from colon cancer, we went on a trip down to the Beach Club. While there, he became ill from the chemotherapy he was on & general anemia (low blood count), so much so that at 2AM, we took him to the hospital (he's a doctor, I'm a paramedic, neither one of us believe in going to the hospital except when it's MOST critical!). I called down to the front desk to ask them to PLEASE have someone bring the car around (we'd used valet parking). Not only did they send someone to RUN to get the car (& write out directions for us to get to the hospital), but the only other person on duty (the front desk person herself) grabbed a wheelchair & RUSHED it up to the room (we hadn't even asked for it!) to assist us in bringing him down. He turned out ok & we went back to the hotel around 6AM (we were staying for several more days). EVERY SINGLE DAY the TERRIFIC MouseKeeping staff sent up chicken soup from Beaches & Cream to help him get better. After all the terrific things they did for him, how could I NOT love that hotel???
Enjoy the Magic!
