If you could stay at any resort beside FW

If you could stay anywhere while Visiting Disney

  • Value Resort (I don't like fancy hotels)

  • Monorail Resort (Like the convenience to MK)

  • Beach or Yacht Club or DVC Type Resort

  • Wilderness or Animal Kingdom Lodge

  • A hotel off property that I like better than Disney Resorts

If You were told to take your choice of any DW resort whether it be moderate to luxury, where would you stay. The fort is not an option.

Wilderness Lodge. That's just my style...rustic and laid back. :thumbsup2

I just know DW would love a savannah view. She'd love it even more if we could just pull in and run an extension cord. She loves the okapi at AK. Speaking of which, here's a pic of an okapi at AK.

I am really torn between WL and the Contemporary but I voted for the Contemporary just because it cool to sit down at the bar upstairs and watch Wishes. I dont know if you could see the fireworks from WL.

I'm hoping it is SSR (for obvious reasons)...... I will know in 15 days for sure.

I really enjoyed AKL the last time I was there and am sure I would enjoy WL just as much.

I have to say, that my entire family and friends that have stayed with/near us at FW always say it is the best place for a family vacation at WDW. I agree.

Unfortunately, we just don't have time to camp there for every vacation due to drive time considerations and of course work.

I would stay at the Polynesian Resort, I have always wanted to stay there, I just can't see paying that kind of money to stay in a room. Regardless if I had the money or not ( which I don't ) to pay that kind of money to stay in a beautiful room that you won't be in but a couple hours a day is just crazy to me.

Animal Kingdom or Wilderness Lodge they both appeal to me! I think I would enjoy roughin it at Wilderness Lodge and I'm sure I could really enjoy a Savannah room at AK lookin out at all those Wild Animal!

Come to think about that I get Both of those at FW!:lmao:

Boardwalk Villas, but then it is my "Home" resort for DVC.

WL....Only so I can eavesdrop on the discussion about the FW'ers....:goodvibes :goodvibes

I am a simple person and would be just thrilled in a value resort. We really like Pop Century.

I haven't voted yet because I love them all! My initial instinct is to say the Poly, because that is my first love, but I also want to try resorts I've never stayed in before. I want to try AKL and BC. I'm staying at WL in July because I really wanted to stay at FW and because my Dad is staying there in December and I want to check it out for him before he goes. I will be your *spy* in July and pay extra close attention to those "camper comments." I've dreamed of being Mata Hari, so this will be fun!;)

We would have to say AKL looking out at the animals drinking your coffee is a great way to start the day.:thumbsup2

One bedroom in building #55 or #56 at OKW or Treehouse. Been at both and they are great.

In keeping with the Camping tradition, BWI to be close to Big River and the Beers of the World in Epcot

Hmmm... anyplace besides the fort would be wishful thinking....so I might as well wish BIG! Grand villa Boardwalk so the whole family can enjoy with us.:cool1:

I voted Value resort, because I like resorts that don't share bus stops, and have outside doorways. All-Star Music has become my favorite.

Port Orleans French Quarter is my favorite resort, but usually out of my price range.
