I just booked the Poly for a week in October!! Its me, DH and DD11 and we do NOT have the dining plan.

It's our first time at the Poly and I'd like to take advantage of the location. We've never eaten at a Signature, and since we are so close to the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian, I think we should try one!

What do you prefer: California Grill, Narcoossee's or Citricos? I've looked at the menus and they all look good!

I'd go for Narcossee personally. Cali. Grill has the best view, but the worst food in my opinion.

Taking advantage, make sure to check out some of the other Poly restaurants (they have some great ones).

You won't go wrong at any one of them -- excellent chefs and menus at each. If I had to pick only one, it would be the California Grill.

California Grill is nice for the fireworks but I don't love the menu. We usually order drinks, apps and sushi and are happy. We got entrees last time and were not thrilled.

Consider Ohana: it is in your resort and my adult sons loved it on their last trip (first time there) and got to see the fireworks during dinner, as well.

Another vote for Narcoossees! All great and yes, Cali Grill has the best view, but Narcoossees is phenomenal. I would definitely eat at the Poly though too, especially since you will be staying there. It's our favorite resort and favorite food. Enjoy.

Another vote for Cali Grill. The food is good and the view is unbelievable. It's always fun to be whisked up in the special elevator, too!

I agree. The food has really gone downhill since the refurb/re-opening. Not a big fan anymore, and this place use to be one of my faves.

I'd go with either Narccosee's & Citrco's. And FYI, I know The Wave isnt a signature but their food is really good and not as pricey as a signature. Love the ambiance too.

We will be going to 'Ohana for sure. Last time we were at Disney we went on our final night, but we were so full from a week of eating that we couldn't enjoy it as much as we should have! I'm going to shoot for 'Ohana early in the week while we're still hungry lol

Not a signature but Kona Cafe one of our all time favs.

I would choose Cali Grill, amazing view and atmosphere. We love the sushi!

I had a terrific meal at Victoria and Alberts. But never been to any of the others. But I would say Citricos

I've only been to Ohana and Cali Grill. Been to Ohana just once and thought it was just ok. Some of the meats were overcooked. Been to Cali Grill 3 times (just went Mon Feb. 6) and it has not disappointed. Wonderful food and view is amazing. Pork 2 ways, goat cheese ravioli, salads all wonderful. Belvedere martini with blue cheese stuffed olives too!!

CG - food and view. I find both of the GF restaurants really uneven, and their menus aren't really evolving at the rate that gastronomy is, not that I expect that from WDW, but you know, somewhat. I really enjoy their sushi, the tuna app and all their salads are delicious.

Narcoossee's for sure. Although depending on where you are from and the availability of high end restaurants I don't think ANY of the signature restaurants at WDW compare to real world. Narcoossees for example is very casual and California Grill, while somewhat more upscale is very hit or miss.

I would choose Citricos. Having dined at CG multiple times I just do not enjoy it and find all of the entrees that I have tried to be incredibly salty. I will not go back to Narcoossee's any time soon, I did not like any of the food that either DH or I ordered, and obviously just don't get the appeal.
