and Disneyland is not one of the options, but all the rest are up for grabs. Main St., Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, NOS, CC, and TT.
Which one would you own and why?
And would would you add/remove/update and why??

I think I would go with what I think is a minority on here and go with ToonTown. I would own ToonTown cause I think I could do better with it than it is now. I would completely do away with Gadgets Go Coaster, not that I dont like it, just I think they could have something better. I would totally redo and do some major upgrades to Donalds boat. Pluto would get his own giant dog house for us guests to explore, but it would somehow have to link with mickeys house. Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin could stay, maybe add a few more Jessicas for the guys  . I would replace Gadgets Go Coaster with another fun kiddie ride, that was more themed to some of our favorite Disney character. Not necessarily a coaster, but a fun little ride featuring the Fab 5, and Daisy too.

NOS b/c I adore it. Can't imagine changing much, but I'd get some more vegetarian food in there. :goodvibes

Over in DCA, if I can own one in each, I'd go with bug's land. I love the land, but if I owned it I would have to change the rides a little bit, b/c it's supposed to be (and I did NOT think of this on my own, it never even occurred to me until someone mentioned it) themed BY Flik for the bugs. So having us ride IN the bugs is just weird. Flik's Flyers is fine, but riding in Heimlich, Francis, and whatever bug the bumper cars are is just ODD. So I'd make the cars something besides the bugs, and make it more like the place was created by bugs. :goodvibes

I'll take "Disney's California Adventureland". I can definitely do it better! :thumbsup2

I would own Fantasyland bc it's based on fantasy and the Disney cartoon movies or better yet, the classics, and it's where everyone can be a kid again. I'd also want it bc it was Walt's favorite land. ;)

Let's see, what would I change. I guess some of the stories in the Storybookland Canals like the mills and the garden that's supposed to be a quilt. I always forget what movies they're from bc I'm not familiar w/ them. So I guess I'd upgrade those little things.
*Peter Pan and Dumbo should NOT be touched even though Peter Pan is too short. lol.*

I wouldn't change a thing as it stands right now in DL. I just think it's amazing.
So many rides so close together and the look of the buildings is quaint. Where else can you go from Casey Jr/Storybook Canal boats to Dumbo, to Teacups, to Alice, to Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, Mr. Toad, Carousel, and on to one side of Matterhorn. WOW! How can you beat that?

Cheater!!!!
But I agree, it needs work. Hopefully with all these upgrades it will be much better.
One thing I would do to DCA, since it is leaning towards a Pixarland, I would make this upgoming little mermaid ride like the nemo ride at WDW, and make the nemo ride in DL, an underwater little mermaid ride. King Tritons carousel would become a Nemo themed carousel, only because it is somewhat in the same are, but it would be cool to ride in cars, especially ramone with his hydros!! Although that means Ariels Grotto would also have to be re-done. We would need a Monsters door scene coaster, and a ride or 2 from incredibles, and a space type ride from Wall-E, maybe like the old Mission to Mars or something. Dont know exactly how that would work, being that Mission to Mars was before my time. Then, I would just rename the place, Pixarland!!

N'awlins Squayah

Love it, and PotC is my favorite ride. I'd live in the Dream Suite and dine at Club 33 whenever I wanted.

NOS for sure...
love love love POTC and HM. wouldnt change a thing;)

FL would be my second choice...or maybe Adventure land....ahhh why must you make us choose just one!! :lmao: i love them all for different reasons:lovestruc hahahahaa

I agree with you Gail! :)
However, for NOS, I would most definitely decorate the HM, in a different form of decor, for Halloween, and Christmas, for both, I do like the idea of having snow, falling on the graveyard, other than that, the interior and exterior would be adorned in Victorian splendor, and over time, and each season, that decor can be changed, by utilizing other what I call HM appropriate decor, by adding to the previous decor, while removing some props, I have had this vision, for a very long time, but I don't think that DL, really cares about my opinion. Anyway, I would love to see this type of theming for the Haunted Mansion, I would absolutely, positively have a field day, researching proper decor, for the HM.
Now with the POTC, my most favorite ride, next to the HM, I would schedule removal of all movie add-in references, within two years, and set that crew afloat to their own ride attraction, it can be connected, literally, to the original POTC, if there is room,I do realize that very important factor, that I see as being awesome, that way, you have the various tie-in factors, but yet have not compromised the original integrity of the POTC ride attraction, if not sufficient square footage, then I would need to figure out, if there would be appropriate space elsewhere, in NOS, for the POTC, film ride attraction, just imagine all of the possibilities that lie within that theming, from encompassing elements from the Black Perl, to segueing into dead mans chest, then finishing up, however leaving some semblance,if possible, of room, for new additions,in the event there is a POTC #4 film, finishing with AWE, with heavy emphasis, upon the first two movies, for I see them as being far superior to #3 film.
For nbc fans, I would take that theming, and move it over to DCA, change the name for DCA, even though I do like it, and make a ride attraction exclusively for nbc, that would be year round.
I would have in store some other changes as well, for the HM, such as bringing back the hat box ghost, and taking the theming back to the earlier days, otherwise, for that most wonderful mansion, that was once so proudly owned, by the poor, lamented Master Gracey.

NOS for sure. I just love the atmosphere, POTC (gotta love that musty smell), HM, all the little shops. Love it!

Second fav I'd like to own would be Fantasyland. Also perfect!

I know it's not IN Disneyland, but I'd own the area in CA from Soarin' through the National Park...that whole area that is right next to the GC. I love it there!

I will take Adventureland with the hopes of acquiring Splash Mountain in a savvy real estate maneuver...:) Maybe I can buy it with dill pickles and pineapple spears!

That is cute, beansf, and I very much like your avatar, very cute cat!

definitely NOS...and I would live upstairs from the courtyard:cloud9: make a suite right there:thumbsup2 but my second choice would be Main St. and live in walts apt.:rotfl: but I would have to extend it out and make a bedroom and a bigger kitchen:confused3

I think I gotta go with Tomorrowland :woohoo:

I don't think I'd wanna change anything at the moment, but in the future you never know. I like the idea that it's the land of tomorrow and also a land of possibilities. With society moving forward, there is always new things being discovered, new technologies being invented and all that crazy stuff. So basically with Tomorrowland, if it ever were to change, it could pretty much go in any direction because no one know what tomorrow will bring. ;)

Main Street hands down. I love all the lands, but there is something truly magical about standing on Main Street and seeing that castle. I love love love that feeling. :cloud9:

Wouldn't change a thing - I would just stand there and watch all the happy families getting their first (or 1000th) glimpse, and I'm smile right along with them.

Sorry the castle view is not included with Main St. If you want the castle view you'll have to trade for Breakfasts at Carnation Cafe! :thumbsup2

I'd go with Fantasyland because it's mine and my DD's favorite. I would make Snow White longer so that the ending is not so abrupt. I would find some way to improve the capacity on Peter Pan so the lines would not be so long. I'd make some additions to the menu at the Village Haus which would include adding creme brulee and a good white chocolate mocha. I would have more characters interacting with the guests and I would be sure to add lots of hunky Princes. While I'm fantasizing, I would add a private room for myself in the castle so I could relax when I wasn't busy in "my land".
