If you could only pick one special meal at the parks/resorts, what would it be?

If you wanted to save $$ and planned on mainly eating meals out of the parks/resorts (we have a kitchen for easy breakfast and stuff (not really to cook) and bringing in most snacks....what one special meal would you recommend. Something that someone on their first trip to WDW wouldn't want to miss. Something that both adults and DS 4 1/2 and DS 6 1/2 would enjoy.

Thanks,

I would do a breakfast at the Crystal Palace if i had the kids. Without kids I would have given another answer

I agree. I would go to the Crystal Palace and make an early reservation, so you can get into the park before it opens. This would give your kids a chance to see Main Street virtually empty and you can get a good picture in front of the castle.

Thats exactly what I would do

This is a character meal? Is it a buffet style or table service? I like that idea of the pic on mainstreet...scrapbooking mommy.

Keep um coming...

Oh, and if you didn't have the kids (3 adults total and two could go off (women..My mom, aunt and I)) where would you go?

With kids, I agree...Crystal Palace. Second choice would be Chef Mickey's. I base these choices soley on character interaction. Crystal Palace has better food IMO and is "somewhat" less frenzied than CM. CM is a neat experience with the monorail running overhead and well, it is a meal with Mickey!

For adults only either Narcoosee if you are looking for a special dinner, or any meal at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Especially if it is you and your mom and aunt. The whole ambiance of the Grand Floridian is just something special. You could browse the shops afterward as well.

3forme...I have to check that out! The husbands are all staying home on this trip, so we could make it a girly thing (2 of us anyway).

Please keep the ideas coming!!

Chef mickey's for dinner. I think the kids would eat more then rather than going for breakfast.

My kids are breakfast eaters so I would pick Cape May Breakfast at Beach Club. No kids In a Park Brown Derby at a resort Artist Point.

With kids: Crystal palace for breakfast
Without kids: Jiko

IMO-with kids either Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian. Without kids-at a park I would have to say the Brown Derby or the Japanese steakhouse at Epcot. Not at a park-I would have to say the California Grill on the top of the Contemporary, Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge or the Yachtsmen Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. All three of these restaurants for adults were excellent and my husband and I would definitely go back!!!!

Narcoosee's or California Grill.

Just adults - Jiko or Victoria & Alberts

For us, it's breakfast at Crystal Palace. Best buffet and best character interaction we've found!
