If you could only pick one dinner restaurant in World Showcase..

Our favorite dinner place in EPCOT is La Hacienda. If you love seafood, the Del Mar for 2 is amazing! Ask for a booth, the tables are too close together :)

Only you can decide something like that. What one may think is amazing, you might not like. My favorite cousine is Mexican, so of course Im going to pick San Angel Inn, but if your favorite is not Mexican, you will probably like somewhere else better.

Choosing a restaurant at Epcot is probably the easiest thing to do. What is YOUR favorite cousine? They have it all there.

Spice Road Table, service is awesome, food is amazing, and sitting on the patio is relaxing. If you go around 7:45 to 8:30, ask for a patio table by the lake. You can watch Illuminations from there.

If you got a table on the patio, then you got super lucky. I would never suggest booking a restaurant (Spice Road / Rose and Crown etc..) just to be on the patio during illuminations. Chances of it actually happening are so super slim. Obviously everyone is hoping for the same thing and only about 8 - 10 lucky families, of hundreds, get chosen nightly.

Spice Road Table has almost all patio tables, from what I saw. And the night we went there were plenty available. They have indoor seating as well, and what I remember, big windows that over look the lake. But the indoor seating didn't seem as much as the patio seating.

Biergarten is fun and the entertainment is nice, but I was very disappointed in the food- and I really like German food. It seemed very low quality and was very expensive. Might be worth it on the dining plan, but I wouldn’t pay OOP for it again.

Biergarten gets my vote!! We've been to many restaurants in EPCOT, but here are three choices, mentioned several times in this thread, that I really want to try next time: Via Napoli, Spice Road Table, and Chefs de France. I need to go back to WDW!!!!!

Yes, I felt the same way. Plus I am not a fan of sitting with other people. It is fun for a big group.

We did Garden Grill last Dec but my son hated the revolving restaurant so that was out lol. I wanted to try Coral reef and showed him a picture and he said "no mommy that is too scary to eat" lol.

We will be eating at EPCOT two nights so at the moment I have Via Napoli and Chefs booked both of which I have not eaten at for a very long time. Thank you for all the comments. Please keep the comments coming! I am listening and considering and I think other families benefit from this as well.

Although I really liked Via Napoli for the first time on our last trip, I would have to say Rose and Crown. You can request a table outside and you can't beat that view of Illuminations. I also love the B&M and the Fruit Crumble! I also plan to do Biergarten again!

Wow, that’s like asking which one of your kids is your favorite. Does one type of cuisine appeal to you more than another? Our least favorite recently is Tutto Italia, and it’s still pretty good (we just prefer Via Napoli now). If I am there solo, I tend to gravitate towards Nine Dragons because I love the food and they have a lot of smaller tables so it’s easier to just walk in, but they are all very good. It’s just what appeals to you.

I hear Nine Dragons has improved at least in the appetizer department. I would love to try it again and order a bunch of apps.

...what would it be? Please exclude Monsieur Paul. We will have our 3 1/2 year old. He is seasoned at signature restaurants but I feel that one is a bit too quite and intimate with him...

Howdy, KC. Good to run across another Mouse fan from the metro. I stated Marrakesh earlier but I'll throw in Rose and Crown as another fine place to eat and order some scotch. That gives Rose and Crown brownie points right off the bat.

Our family loves Rose and Crown for a late night night dinner and Illuminations

Biergarten is over priced to me. Fun but so-so food for the money.
Teppan Edo as others have said is not as good as most Teppanyaki restaurants found nationwide.
Le Celliar was our top favorite until it changed to Signature dining. Still excellent but over priced.
Chefs de France is very good food but we've had poor service more than once.

San Angel's atmosphere and excellent food wins.
Coral Reef's atmosphere is incredible, food is very good but not tops.

Will have to try Marakesh. Looks good but not sure if teen girls will enjoy it. Not into spicy or unusual foods.

Via Napoli or Rose & Crown (especially if you can get an outside table overlooking the water)
