If you could only do one night concierge, which resort would it be?

We have an opportunity to go to Orlando in January and stay offsite, but will have one night we can book on WDW property. Which concierge resort would you choose, what kind of room and view? It will just be my husband and myself.

We have reservations at AKL concierge level next month, and haven't stayed at any other resort.

Many thanks
Susan

I don't know if it is offered but, I would do the AKL so I could do the sunise safari (which I believe is only offered to concierge level guests) .

Evem though, I must add the Poly is my favorite resort! I have stayed there but have never stayed @ AKL.

CR, 14th floor, hands down.

The VIEW is absolutly OUT OF THIS WORLD. Totally awsome. Watching Wish from the lounge balcony is so wonderful. They play the music. The lights of the castle...... You can even see the logs going down on Splash Mtn!

For two adults I'd do the BWI. It's by far the quietest and has the least kids, and is a short stroll to Epcot.

ditto.

I would stay AKL just to do the Sunrise OR Sunset (Wanyama) safari. I think it's the only concierge that actually offers an additional "perk" like this.

Plus I would love to just sit in the lounge all night drinking cappuccinos! heheh

Polynesian Lagoon View Concierge and I would request a balcony room. That would be my first choice.

Second choice - Animal Kingdom Lodge (so I could do the Sunrise Safari)

Third choice - Grand Floridian - surely the CL there is fantastic! Don't know...

I'd go along with AKL for the same reason the others listed.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

Definetely CR 14th floor. Like another poster said...you cant beat the view, and you can relax with a cocktail and watch the fireworks, and if the mood hits you can take a leisurely stroll over to the MK, just for fun.

We liked the view from Poly LVC. It's hard to pick 1 for you with little info.

Hey Denman

I have to ask what kind of camera did you use? Those are beautiful pictures! Do you use flash for the fireworks shots, or just nothing at all?

For just ONE night?

CR 14th floor...no brainer! You're there in the middle of the magic, the most awesome view, and the most EXCLUSIVE concierge on property.

that being said....BWI/AKL are a very, very close 2nd.

Thanks Minky.

I used a Canon Digital Rebel. No flash for the fireworks.

By the 4th night, I had the sequence of fireworks down. :D

Wow, thanks for all the great replies. Those photos are awesome!

We're staying AKL concierge next month and will be doing the Sunrise Safari, so we're thinking of somewhere other than AKL.

Anyone else care to weigh in?

Ok now that you said that, I'd do the Poly or maybe I'd try CR!
