We have only one day to be at Universal. There are 6 of us going, all adults with one who is not big into rides, but has fun watching the rest of us (that's my mom:goodvibes)

So which park should we do?

IOA was my favourite, certainly has the best "big" rides with Hulk and Dueling Dragons. Plus Spider-Man might be the best attraction at any theme park.

Studios has a bit more variety though if it isnt just for thrills

Universal Studios. There's more to do and you can't usually fill a day at IOA. There are more attractions with more variety.

Go to universalorlando.com and look at the attractions at each park. Decide which park has more that you will enjoy.

I would personally leave toward US because I think it has a better mix of shows and different types of rides. Also, I'm not a water ride person, so that leaves out Dudley Do Right, the Bilge Barges and Jurassic Park at IOA.

Whatever you decide, have a wonderful time!

I'm leaning towards the Studios.. which, with the new coaster, I feel like now has a perfect blend of thrills, dark rides, and shows. :)

We always manage both parks in one day, and thats pretty much going on everything :)

Given your time of visit I would try both parks...the crowds are low and I would think it is possible.

I agree also.We can blow thru IOA in 1/2 A day.But US has more to offer in my opinion.
This might change when HP opens tho.
You can do both in oneday, but its gonna be A long day and you won't see it all.

IOA is better if you are a thrill seeker and US is better if you just want to have fun

i hope the OP comes back and lets us know which park they went to....

and tell us about all the fun they had!

Islands of Adventure, hands down. The rides are more dynamic and diverse, the way the park is setup allows you to accomplish everything without zig zagging and the theming itself is breathtaking.

Oh, and there's that ride there, what is it called...Spider Man! ;)
