Narcoossee's
Citricos
Brown Derby
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Artist Point

We can only choose 2 signature restaurants for our upcoming trip (due to our schedule). We've already eaten at Jiko and California Grill on past trips. Which of the above restaurants would you choose and why? TIA :goodvibes

I had the fixed price dinner with the salmon as my entree. I especially loved the frisee salad, the portobello mushroom soup & the berry cobbler. As a matter of fact, I could make a meal out of those without an entree! We've also eaten at the Brown Derby (lunch) - I thought my cobb salad was ok; my DH loved the grouper.

Yachtsman Steak house would be my first choice and Im not sure about my second. Probably either Citricos or Brown Derby, but Im not saying that from experience....just reading the menus. ;)

1st Artist Point-great Food & a beautiful relaxing place.

2nd Brown Derby-Great Martini's & Food.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of those on the list.

We have eaten at Artist Point and Brown Derby. Artist Point was very good and definitely worth the money. The berry cobbler was great. I had the pork chop with mac-n-cheese, and DH had the salmon. Both were excellent. Brown Derby just wasn't that impressive imho. :thumbsup2

I would go with Yachtsmans, we never miss it and it has always been great.
2nd would be Artist Point or Narcosses, we have been to both and were impressed.
I am not a big fan of Brown Derby and have not been to Citricos in over 6/7 years.
If you time Narcosses right you can see MK fireworks form there deck.

1. Citricos- one of the best meals I have ever had at the World!

2. Artist Point- I have never been there, but the menu looks really good, and you get to wander around the fantastic Wilderness Lodge. I am finally going to give it a try in August!

I would hands down pick Yatchsmen's The food there was awesome! Especially the dessert sampler platter

Second or third choise would be an EARLY seating at either Narcoossee's or
Citricos. After dinner you could walk down to the boat launch at the Grand an watch Wishes, along with the piped in music.

Artist Pointe and Narcoosee's.

If you had asked me this question a few years ago, I would have chosen Yachtsman Steakhouse. It use to be our favorite. However, we went last summer and we felt the quality of the food wasn't as good. The service was spectacular as usual. Details: I ordered my steak medium rare. Well, it came to me medium well if not well. So, I sent it back and it came back medium rare on the inside, but the outside was charred quite a bit, it actually appeared to be cooked well if you were just going by how it looked. That affected the taste. I walked by the kitchen and the flame was way up there - I think they had it too hot. I don't know, I'm no expert. The prices are really high and I didn't think it was worth the $$. We had dined there in the past and loved the food. Top notch - aged beef. Delicious. I hope this was an isolated incident...but I don't know. I'm not in a hurry to go back. Very sad because this was our place. We even had a favorite waiter.

I despise Citricos. Had bad experiences there both times we've tried it. Bad service and just okay food. It's off my list for sure.

We love Brown Derby!!! Great food, atmosphere, desserts, and service.
Narcoosee's has great seafood selections, great service, excellent views. Oh, and they have a very nice steak as well.

Artist Pointe is one of my very favorites. Very unique menu. The salmon and hatfield pork chop are excellent. My favorite dessert, Artist Pointe Berry Cobbler, is served there. yummy. Plus, it's an excuse to visit the beautiful Wilderness Lodge. The service is usually wonderful, although once we had a very slow server. But, that happens sometimes.

Out of your choices, I think they are all good except Citricos. Although, lots of people love it. I'm thinking my experience at yachtsman steakhouse was isolated.

Have fun and enjoy whatever you choose.
