If you could go back in time....

If (supposedly) you could go back in time to any time you wanted......where would you go to? (can be beyond your age) and why?

the 50s or 60s back when there were sock hops and diners and Grease and all that good stuff and everyone seemed happy and you could pretty much do anything and there were no threats or murders if i had to go sometime recent i would go to back to around 1999 when i was 5 and grwoing up with all my neighbors

I like the "ancient" periods.

I also think it'd be neat to go back to the time when christians believe Jesus lived. I'd like to see the truth for myself. I don't want to offend anybody with this statement, I'm just the kind of person that's a little skeptical if I don't have visual proof. I doubt that it would change my beliefs either way, but it'd be neat.

Late 1800s...like pioneer days.

40s-50s. I want to know what it was like during WWII and to live in the 50s. I watch I Love Lucy and I just think the clothes are great.

Actually, I'd really like to visit from like 1900-1955. Plus the pioneer times.

Has anyone ever seen the New York Life commercials? I always loved those because they put clips from different eras or at least made it look like it was from that era.

I'd want to be about like, 20 years old in the late 60's, because of the great music going on at the time!
