If you could go to WDW alone what would you do that you could not do when you go with someone else?

I will start this.

1.I would go and sit around the hotel pool. Husband hates to do this
2. go shopping and pick up anything my little heart desires.
3. Play golf. Husband also does not like this.

anyone else

I can and do go to WDW alone, and here are some of things that I have enjoyed doing during those trips, or that I'm planning on my next trip:

1) Get a lot more done. Since I only stop when I need or want to, I get so much more done

2) Take the Backstage Magic Tour. Not everyone wants to give up a full day of park touring (and the cash) to do this.

3) Eat exactly where I want for every meal

4) See British Invasion 3 times in a row if I like

5) Stop in every single store I see to browse if I like, or pass them all by if I'm not in the mood

Hmmm, interesting question. I know people go alone all the time. :scratchin I would definitely shop and take my time. I'd do the pool thing too...or would I? Hmmmm. Well, I'd probably do a lot of people watching on a bench. Very interesting place to watch people. Different cultures, etc. I would also thoroughly explore World Showcase and try to do everything there is to do there...all the little shows. I would take several of the tours too! That would be a lot of fun. Guess that's it. I'll have to think about it some more. Will be interesting to see what others come up with.

I would do exactly what I wanted to do whenever the urge hit me to do it.

I went away for a weekend by myself (not to WDW), and it was the absolute BEST couple of days I've ever had. Who says eating fudge and chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast is wrong?

sounds like a really good breakfast to me!

I will be going alone for the first time soon. I plan to relax by the pool(weather permitting) go to DTD to shop a bit, and maybe get a massage. At night I will go to PI once, Jellyrolls once, and MVMCP another. :Pinkbounc

I would play Millionaire over and over again! I'd also just spend an entire day in the World Showcase and get to every live performance (some more than once) and see all of the films in the countries. I'd also eat at the California Grill probably every night just so I could try everything that I wanted to!

Wow, I never thought of this...I would do some spa packages and really just stroll along. DH and I do this anyways, but I would do a lot more people watching (and wishing my DH were with me).

I would definately relax by the pool. Slowly explore World Showcase. Sit on a lot of the benches around World Showcase and just relax and people watch. Relax on my balcony and read a book. Okay, so I would relax a lot!

You would find me open to close at the Magic Kingdom. In the past DH has always found a way to shorten our time there. We don't have any kids yet so he feels there isn't alot for us to do there. I want to see the WHOLE park! Luckily we are taking some friends with us in Jan and they just adopted 2 kids from Russia, so FINALLY I will be able to see ALL of MK since we will be spending most of our time there! YEA!!!:Pinkbounc

Oh, and being able to eat where and when I want would be nice!

I LOVE to go by myself. Have to have some "me" and Mickey time! I love to go around with my camera and practice photography. See what kind of shots I can get. Especially in World Showcase before it gets crowded.

I love to go have a burger at Beaches and Cream. If I'm staying at OKW, I'll take the boat over to Downtown Disney.

Mainly, I just like to relax and soak it all in at my own pace.

I also like to try things I haven't done before so when I take people with me, I know whether to do that with them or not.

I enjoy some Disney alone time.

And I'm going to have to try the chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast thing! Sounds like a must!

I think I would plan a very full, detailed itinerary. (much like the one I plan for my family)-- But then take everything in THOROUGHLY. Not getting distracted by bathroom breaks, boo boo knees, and whining would really keep the spring in my step.

After a day or 2, I think I would miss them too much. So much of the magic for me is sharing the experience.

BUT- If ever the oppurtunity arose- I would jump on it:bounce:

Here is what I did when I went alone...

1) Stayed at AKL - great hotel to gaze/meditate
2) Shopped to my hearts content in Epcot World Showcase, always a difficult thing to do at anyone else's speed.
3) Went to AK and did the walking trails at my own speed, again something not always done at great enthuasiasm by others.
4) Arrived EARLY without acting like a sargent. Usually I'm the one saying, "come on people let's go let's go"
5) Had a lovely breakfast at Boma - pressed pot of coffee, newspaper, delicious pork loin and felt pampered by the server.
6) Rode my favorite attractions as much as I wanted to!
7) Sat by the pool without having to be a lifeguard! Oooo how relaxing. I soaked up the music and watched a giraffee walk by and pretended I was in Africa.

What an interesting question.

I can think of a few things I wouldn't do:

Ride Dumbo, Aladdin, Mission:Space
Wait to greet any characters

Things I would do:

Go to Blizzard Beach - have never been
Spend time wandering at Fort Wilderness
Spend more time taking photos and video
Sit through American Adventure a few times
Eat at Flying Fish and Coral Reef (DW is allergic to seafood)
Spend an evening at Adventurer's Club

And this is what I have done: Met up with DIS-ers, Eaten where I wanted to eat, when I wanted to, not worry about if anyone else is having a good time, and HAD A BLAST!!::yes:: In about 60 days I am going alone again---I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I would love to go by myself.

I would love to go to each park and go slow and see everything. World Showcase and AK espcially. The kids don't want to spend much time there, so we are always rushing through.

Maybe one day.

Not care if I missed an exit.

Sit down to eat an ice cream cone.

Watch the musical fountain at Epcot.

Go to Wishes every night. Go to the Hoop-Dee-Doo twice.

Take the Wild by Design and Keys to the Kingdom tours.

Ditto above who said, "Arrive early without having to be the drill sergeant!" That would be the best.

Ride HM over and over again. Ride Figment twice.

SKIP THE KILIMANJARO SAFARIS!!

Go to MGM, see Beauty and the Beast, leave MGM.

Sleep in peace when I want.

1.Sleep late/Relax
2. Just take time to sit and watch people and isten tothe parks music especially Epcot.
3.Shop at my slow pace at anytime I wanted
4. Eat at any restaurant I wanted.
5. ... miss my family.:(

1. Explore Worldshowcase
2. See Beauty and the Beast
3 Ride Buzz several times in a row
4. Slow down an enjoy all the sights
5. Watch the show in front of Castle
