My sister and I are trying to decide which signature restaurants to go to on our next trip. We've never been to any, so have no clue which is best. So, we have a question for you!

If you could go to just one signature restaurant, which would it be and why?

hmmmmm tough one!

i've always loved Cali Grill- during fireworks time

I hear Narcoosees is nice as is the Yachtsman steakhouse

but i have a soft spot for cali grill at night.

oh and i forgot about Jiko. Love jiko too!

That's a rough one since we eat almost entirely at Signature restuarants when at Disney, but if I had to pick one, I'd say CG with AP as a close second.

Cali Grill. We tried Narcoosee's and it was a nice dinner, but we both liked Cali Grill a lot better.

I would go to Jiko. That Filet Mignon with mac and cheese was sooooo good and we loved the atmosphere too.

Unless you can get an ADR at CG for during Wishes, IMHO, Narcoossees is the best in terms of food and atmosphere. You can see Wishes from there and watch the Electrical Light Water Pageant from the dock if you time it right before or after dinner. The service there has always been outstanding for us. It is also much more quiet than CG which tends to be very noisy.

Citricos at the Grand Floridian. It's the best meal we've ever had, hands down.

Cali Grill, Jiko and DD and her DH absolutely loved Citricos...they are true foodies.

So for those who love CG, what would you recommend then outside of the seafood realm? Also, what do you think of Yachtsman Steakhouse?

I don't eat any seafood and there is plenty to choose from on CG's menu. My favorites are the oak fired beef filet, the flatbreads & the goat cheese ravioli. In December they also had a rabbit appetizer that was positively delicious. This is our must-do restaurant on every trip to Disney.

YS, we like this place, but I actually seem to get better beef at CG or Jiko. Don't know why that is, but we still do enjoy YS-we just don't go as often.

That is tough! I am torn between Jiko and Flying Fish .... I think Jiko wins but not by much because they are both out of this world! Both DH and I loved everything about Jiko, the apps, the entrees and the desserts, so many different flavors that were just amazing

My three favorite signature restaurants at Disney are:

Jiko
Jiko
Jiko

Seriously - we never miss at least one dinner at Jiko when in WDW

As for the Yachtsman - its a good steakhouse. The food is great. We've had great service and stuffy, snobby service.

We personally prefer steak at Shulas.

First Choice - Victoria & Albert's

Second Choice - Blue Zoo

Third Choice - Shula's

Fourth Choice - Jiko

On our next trip, DH and I are choosing one signature restaurant to eat at......Yachtsman Steakhouse. Never been before, but we love a good steak!

In the past, we've eaten at Flying Fish and Artist Point. Even though I'm more of a steak person, I absolutley loved the seafood at Flying Fish. Yum!

One of the CG people here...
I like Yachtsman. Experience good, food good, service good.
It's just that, well, I've had better steak in local upscale steakhouses and the setting to me doesn't scream Disney in any way.
Would I go back, yes. Would I pick it as my first, one and only, for you, no.
