Have you looked at any of the toys out right now when you were doing your Christmas shopping and thought - "Man, I wish I was a kid because I would love to play with one of these"?

If you could be 8 yrs old for just one Christmas present this year, what would you want to get? (Not to say we can't get toys anyway ::::she says as she hides her collection of stuffed animals:::::: )

If you could have one toy that was popular when you were a kid that you miss a lot (probably because your mom threw everything from your childhood away ::::::issues Lauri... work through the issues..::::::: ) what would you like to have?

I can't think of any new toys that I would like - but I really, really,r eally wish my Mom hadn't given away my Mystery Date game - I loved opening that door in the hopes that the Stud and not the Dud would be waiting to take me out on my dream date!!:D

Mother - why, oh why did you ruin my life by giving that game away??????????????????????????????????????;)

I always wanted a pair of stilts but now they have these:

The adult model Powerisers give users from 130 lbs to 220 lbs the ability to jump up to 6 feet in the air and take running strides of up to 9 feet in length.

Powerisers are for the average athletically-inclined person AND the professional circus performer!
Incredible basketball slam dunks, amazing flips, breath-taking heights -- all are made possible with the
Powerisers!

Anyone have this. It was out for a limited time, had a little guy with big muscles that looked like he was turning the Merry Go round. It was so cute had a little white picket fence around. Yes. issues 20 years now I have looked at Yard sales EBAY etc...to no avail. Boo hoo!

The thing that I always wanted when I was a kid (I don't remember if I actually ever received them) were those shoes that turned into rollerskates by pushing a button.

Anyone remember those?

They just came back with these again! Your guys may too little to have asked for them, But my 9 year old recieved 2 pairs of them for Christmas last year. He loved them!

My mother gave away (sold probably) my metal farm with all the animals. It was realistic and SO much fun... and then my giant camper that you could open the top and play inside.. I miss those.

My girlfriend had Barbies winter cabin.. That was fun too!

I'd give just about anything to have all of my Barbie stuff I had when I was little. We sold it all at garage sales after we didn't want to play with it anymore.

What would I want that is out right now if I was 8 yrs old? Probably any of the LeapPad stuff. It's all just so wonderful.

I want my old my little ponies back...and the castle that went with it. :goodvibes. I was a My Little Pony girl, not a barbie girl.

I had a mouse treehouse. It had an upstairs and downstairs. It had a little pully "elevator" basket inside that you could put the boy mouse or girl mouse in and crank the handle and pull the basket up. It also had 2 little tree stump chairs with a cut out for the mice' tails to fit through so they could sit and a little table too. Oh how I miss those cute little mice. Maybe that is why my hosue is such a clutter of toys - I am afriad to get rid of any of my kids toys for the fear they will need therapy one day:teeth:

My mom and dad bought this merry-go-round that was in our backyard. Man was that FUN!!! It was built for 4 and man did you go fast by "pumping" the handle back and forth.

I WANT MY WINNIE THE POOH BACK! I got it on my first trip to Disney. It was a cute musical stuffed pooh.

OH and I play video games now...so I am not missing out on THAT...HEE-HEE!!!::yes::

We had one of those Merry Go Round type things in our back yard. It had 4 seats on it and you held onto the handle and pumped it back and forth. WE WORE IT OUT! That was one of the best toys I ever had.

I guess I'd like to be 8 years old and have a karaoke machine! :teeth: I would have loved that when I was a kid.

I remember being 8 and my Mom telling me that it was time to give up getting dolls for Christmas!!

I remember thinking NOOOOO, not YET!~!!

Little did I know she was planning on getting me Tammy and her whole family that year!! I was shocked and thrilled out of my mind!

My Mom was like that! :p

When I was 8 years old, I got three really cool Barbie like dolls. One was a Donny and Marie dolls... and it came with Marie perfume. My Marie doll hada jagged edge two tone purple dress, and Donny had a purple suit! (they both had microphones)... and I had a Cher Barbie.. (her hair was down to her ankles!) Cher had some great outfits!

I wasn't a huge Barbie fan, but I liked those. I also remember that when I was 7, I got some original Star Wars stuff... I thought it was too boyish! (What was I thinking! Thats a Ebay goldmine now!)
When I was 9 or 10 I got a Merlin.. I loved that Merlin!

If I could be 8 again there is so much stuff from my childhood that I would want to get again but I'm going to limit it to just two things. I would want a Cabbage Patch Kid (even though I still have those) and I'd want all my Strawberry Shortcake stuff back (I hate the new ones!).

If Iwas 8 years old I'd probably want the gameboy sp that my DS got for his 9th birthday - he got the gameboy advanced for his 8th birthday. That's a cool little machine and I would have loved to have some games to play.

But now I can just "borrow" DS' when he's in school. ;)

I'd want Legos...Harry Potter Legos, Star Wars Legos, Space Legos, Castle Legos, Priate Legos...Legos are cool! :teeth:

We were too old by the time Big Wheels came out, but I always wanted to ride one. I guess I could borrow Gallagher's.
