dinner show in WDW would it be the hoop dee doo or the luau at the poly? need advice for me, mum, DS10 and friends for our november trip. most reviews seem to favour the HDD over the luau - is this right?

In all our years traveling to WDW, we've never seen the luau, but Hoop-De-Doo is marvelous! We've seen it six times, often going with extended family. A little corny, but a lot of fun. It is a very interactive show and fun for the whole family. The food is not bad - certainly not gourmet - but there is lots of it. Guaranteed to put you in a good mood!

HDDR definately.

It's timeless and hilarious. The food is great, always hot and as soon as you're done, they bring more.

At the luau, the last time I went was in 2002. It was okay but I think it would bore kids. The food was so so, and we never got seconds. Our waitress kind of disapeared...

We did both on our last trip. We liked the Luau, but the HDDR was so much fun we are still talking about it. We will be doing this one again on our next trip in Dec.
