I sailed the April 30,2005-May 7,2005
Disney Cruise line/Eastern CARIB Cruise
ST thomas, ST MArten, Disney castaway Island

It was the great week of my life. I highly reocmmend this cruise.
whether, you have a family, are a couple with children, or a retired couple,
or a huge family reunion-you will love this cruise

I took my 80 year old mother, for mothers day. She loved it.

I highly recommend the following

fly in a day early
stay at the hampton II
$84 including tax
there shuttle will pick up at airport and take you to the hotel 1 mile away
then bring you back the next day, to catch your cruise ship bus
They have a free breakfast at the hotel and free internet in the lobby
with large computer
so you do not have to take your laptop

The cruise was filled with so many activiteis, so many things to do
the "Magic" is a floating hotel. It is "Walt disney world" on a ship.

They serivce is incredible. They clean your cabin, twice a day.
You have a team of servers, that rotate thru with you to the 3 restarautns over the 7 nights and one character breakfast.

The food is incredible
breakfast every morning at "Topsiders Buffett' every monring
and usually lunch at "Topsiders Buffett"
Dinner each night in the 7 night rotation to the 3 restarautns, with gourment meals, you see only on the cable TV food channels.

3 pools
slide pool
children pool
Adult only pool

free soft drinks near pool, the entire cruise.

sports-basketball, ping pong, shuffleboard,etc

Spas and fitness center

Broadway shows every night, or game shows
in the walt disney theatre

movies all day and night, in the Buena Vista Theatre

For families-parties every night in the STUIDO SEA

For adults-parties every night in the ROCKING BAR D

first night-we had sail away party on DECK 9

third night-we had pirate pirate on DECK 9
with fireworks (DISNEY ONLY CRUISE SHIP that can shoot off fireworks)

every place you went to for late night entertainment
had huge tables of food, including a "DESERT PARTY"

When we got off ship at Port canveral
A porter, got our bags, which wsa amazing, as thousands of pices of luggage were on the port terminal, waiting for all of us.
He helped us clear US Customs. We got out boarding pass for american Airliens
and the Porter, put our bags in a American Airlines truck, sot hey would check it in for us at MCO.
We then went straight to DCL BUS, which took us, to MCO and we already had bags checkign in and boarding pass, so we did not have to stand in line.
The whole process, except actuall bus ride form port caneveral to MCO
was 10 mintues. NO STRESS!!!!!!!

I know how you feel.
We felt exactly the same after our first DCL cruise and are anxiously awaiting our next one.
Glad you had so much fun!!

We embark on our first cruise at the end of the month and we are really starting to get excited. You're post is just fanning the flames!! :goodvibes

My husband and I commented at the end of our April 24th Wonder cruise that this was the first vacation we have ever been on where we didn't think of home/work/school one time. It was totally amazing!!

How wonderful! I love to hear about how much a first itme cruiser enjoyed themselves!

KANSAS - sounds like you had a great time. I am glad. How'd you make out with insurance?

For anybody out there who asks the question "why do you keep going back to DCL?" Your thread answers that question perfectly. Our family agrees with your comments 100%. Kathy
