If you are there for Christmas - what are your plans?

Claire that sounds like a perfect Christmas for your DD's Christmas at WDW, and birthday. In many ways I would go into MK on Christmas Day (we have in the past) but I don't want to be up that early and if we can stay late on Christmas Eve we will all be tired and should enjoy a more lazy day :)

Thankyou :goodvibes

I don't think we'll last long on Christmas day after the late night on Christmas eve either! But our ADR at CP is for 12 noon so if we need to we could be hot footing it out of the madness that will be MK by mid afternoon! Hopefully to the pool in the nice warm Florida sunshine :thumbsup2

Claire :)

We were there last Christmas and are gong back this year. Last year we spent Christmas Eve in Hollywood studios then watched wished at MK. Christmas day we spent in the universal parks and had dinner in Chef Mickey and walked over to MK for christmas wishes, it was no where near as bad crowd wise as we were expecting. We plan on doing something similar this year but we have Christmas dinner booked at Shulas in the Swan and Dolphin. Weather was beautiful last year

We were there in 2010 when it was really cold some days, so I am hoping for better weather :) I'm surprised the crowds were lighter as on the news it showed Universal over Christmas and some of the other parks and they were packed!

I heard we were lucky with the weather so hoping its as nice this year.
Universal parks where honestly not that busy in the day time but we are used to school holiday crowds I did hear MK was at capacity in the morning but once we got there after chef mickey it was fine and we had very little wait on a lot of rides.

What/where is the sleigh ride people are mentioning that sounds like something we might be interested in!

I'm used to August weather so I'm really hoping the weather is lovely over Christmas, it will be disappointing if it is cold :upsidedow

we took the sleigh ride from fort wilderness, we booked it thru the disney site

We're thinking of changing our August 2014 holiday to christmas, due to a family wedding.
Id love to eat and Chef Mickeys for breakfast but would want to eat a bit later and then spend the rest of the day at MK.
Not too bothered about the crowds but was worried about the times it may close.
We usually spend whole days at parks, so was thinking of booking CP instead of CM.
Will be following with interest. :thumbsup2

It is apparently not unheard of for MK to close to capacity to all guests (even resort guests) by mid morning. We plan to be there fairly early!!

Claire :)

I think if we decide to go for christmas we'd go there early too. ;)
