My sister and I just took at quick trip (July 12-15) to Disney for the Passholder Tower of Terror event. We stayed at All Star Sports (loved it!). On one occasion, we were on a bus that took us to all 3 All Star resorts. All Star Movies is having their bus stop renovated. We saw people standing along the sidewalk under make-shift umbrellas waiting for the bus. It is 103 degrees in the shade this time of year! We had reservations for the Movies in early September. I immediately called and got that changed to the All Star Sports. No way I could endure those temps in the sun waiting for a bus. However, there is a possibility that the renovations could be completed by then, but I did not want to chance it. Just heads up!

MsMouse you gave me a slight heart attack!!! When I was reading your post I saw its 103 degrees and I think my heart stopped :) Then I read in the shade and knew you were not reporting on the actual temperature but stating that its HOT!! I'll be going mid August and I know its gonna be hot. But if it was actually 103 now goodness knows what it will be in a month!!! hehehe Making plans to do my best to keep me and my son cool. (Spritzer fans, neck cool cloths and on and on)

We are staying at the Sports also. In June it was my first stay there and it was nice. My son really enjoyed the Touchdown play area. This time I'm gonna bring a football. He was begging me to buy one but I couldn't bare to spend the $$$

What exactly were they renovating?

As far as I knew... none of the values have covered bus areas (at least thats how it was when I was there in January)... so no matter what resort your at, you'll be standing in the sun/heat.

Has this changed? Are they adding coverings/umbrellas to the bus stops?

Yeah that was what I was thinking too! Did they cover Sports and Music??

Correct. But, the stops are in front of the covered walkways(area in front of the building) where there are benches you can sit and wait in the shade for the bus to come. At movies, it's the sidewalk leading to the building entrance, period. No benches and only "picnic table umbrellas" to stand under. As you can imagine, not many people would fit under those.

Sorry about my exaggeration on the heat. Didn't mean to scare anyone. My weird sense of humor???:confused3 It only felt like 103 in the shade.:rotfl:

The entire area where the busses stop is dug up and awaiting concrete. As I said, don't know how long it will take to get that finished.

It would be nice if they did have full coverings for the value bus stops.
