I just booked my Dollar rental for 11/12-11/16/04. It's gone down quite a bit from the last time I checked my dates. I used the MAG code and got an intermediate for $98. My next closest rental price was $110 from Budget-while National,which I usually get, is about $131 for the same dates.

Definitely, check out Dollar's rates - check first without any codes and then try MAG for an extra 10%.

I just reserved thru Dollar for 11/7-11/14. $183.52 for a full size.

Should I keep checking back? I used MAG code.

Also, they don't take a credit card # or anything? They just send you a confirmation?? That's not very comforting.

I jumped on the MAG rate one night and got a minivan for 209 for a week. I have never seen it go that low again. MAG rate is 259 now. I check periodically with different codes and never see it that low so I feel really lucky.

Thanks, I also just booked with the MAG code and saved about 18$. I have been watching rates for about a month and nothing had budged.

If rates continue to drop I'll just re-book!

By the way my dates are Nov 12-18 and I went for an economy (hoping to get a free upgrade), and got a price of $122 after base rate of $100.

When you find a lower rate do you reserve it & then go back & cancel your other reservation? What is Dollar's cancellation policy?

I managed to change mine a while ago and got a great rate.... paying $270 including all taxes for a full size for 2 weeks..... when I changed it there was an area to go in and alter your present reservation.
