Just started My POINTS in May since I am a bzz agent I can write reviews and get 25 points. I really was not aware of it till recently. Anyway now I am trying to find ways of getting my points to add up. I am up to 3600 +. I was so upset b/c my husband joined Angies list and they gave 750 but he did not know, and we also upped our costco card which was another huge point amount. I am hoping I can get a g/c of two for my trip to FLA in August.

Any good ideas as to how to get points? I do surveys but often I spend 10 minutes and then they say I do not qualify.

Just do your daily click throughs for 5 points each--be sure you are getting your MyPoints emails and alwasy click through them! Be sure to check through them first before making any on line purchases. Purchasing gift cards through the email links they send are a good way to boost points as well.

I do a lot of my shopping thru them. Barnes and Noble, Disney store, Best Buy, Walmart. I also do the emails where you just click to get 5 points, some it's sign up for this get 10-25 extra points I know one was request Disney info CD.

I redeem for Rain forest Gc, Bath and Body works GC.

another thing i do on mypoints is print coupons from mypoints/coupons.com. not only do i save on my grocery bill by using the coupons i get 10 points for each coupon i redeem plus 25 bonus points if you use 10 or more coupons that month.

My main site is sunshine, but I use MP for the clickthru emails and the occasional purchase from a merchant that Sunshine doesn't have.

Just by doing that I usually get a GC each year, sometimes more. Just redeemed for an Old Navy GC, actually, from doing the above.

I don't do much shopping through MyPoints - Ebates and Mr. Rebates, not to mention rewards credit cards, offer much better value when shopping for the most part - however if you use Lancome products you definitely want to link through MyPoints! I'll buy $75.00 worth of Lancome products (and get tons of free samples) and the 4000 points I earn for the purchase are more than enough for a $25.00 BP or Shell card to help pay for the gas for my Disney trips!:thumbsup2 I usually cash out for $50.00 BP cards at 7350 points...less than two Lancome purchases!

Take a good look at the MP "paid clicks". At least 50% of the ones I am getting now have no points for me. Used to be almost all had 5 points for clicking on an e-mail. I scroll down and if there are no points I delete the e-mail. Wonder how many people don't look and MP is getting credit for members clicks.

Don't forget about searching. You can search on the MyPoints website or download their toolbar, and earn up to 75 points monthly for 30+ searches. It's not a lot, but every little bit helps.

I just click the email links and shop through their site. I don't do the surveys or use the toolbar (I use swagbucks and use their search tool since I end up with a $5 Amazon gift card easily that way).

I also do the click through emails (and yes, I have noticed that not all of them offer points anymore). I do the Lancome offer too - if I'm buying the product anyway, right?!? We also got 10,000 points when we switched from Dish to DirecTV - those offers change, but if you are in the market to switch cable providers, you might check MP first. I also do the coupons and I occasionally play games on WorldWinner, so I click through MP first so I get points for my dollars.

Generally, I just check MP anytime I'm going to make an online purchase, I check out MyPoints, ShopAtHome, and ebates then go with the best offer. (I love ShopAtHome BTW). I get enough points on MP usually to get at least a $50 RFC gift card per year, sometimes more if they have good special offers going.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I do do the surveys when I qualify. I am up early and that is when they are available. I do not know if any of you do bzzagent.com but that is a good site. It is word of mouth advertising. They choose you to try products and then you write about them. I have done it off and on for about 5 years. It is really easy and you get great stuff.
When you write a review or talk to others about the product (like I am talking to you all now no big deal) you write a few lines and get 25 to 50 pts for MP.

The products I have gotten recently are a ton of neutrogena cosmetics, dr. scholls insoles for high heels, Gucci Flora perfume, Ball Park frozen hamburger patties and Smooth and Shine Keratin hair smoother. The more you bzz the more you earn points snd the greater chances you get chosen for a campaign.

In the past I got 1 gal of Ben Moore Paint, tons of Hershey's chocolate, a case of Poland Spring Water, a full set of the GiantZip Loak Bags for storage one box in each size. Usually the person who is a bzzagent gets full size whatever and then they give you samples and coupons to give to friends or use for yourself if you like the product and the coupons are like for 2.oo or 3.00 or more off.

With MP I pretty much do the click thru, purchase only if I was going to purchase something anyway and do the surveys if I have some time as I found the same as you I answer a bunch of questions and then find I do not qualify and only get a few points for my time.:confused3. I have never been able to get anything out of sunshine, so don't even bother with that anymore. I am in the process of doing some others, once I get to the point of cashing out, I will stop as I am so invested I needed to get that far. I will continue with MP as I have gotten a lot from it, but it takes patience. Good luck.

I love Mypoints!!! Check your email everyday and click on the 5 point offers! Adds Up! Do the Surveys too some et a liitle long but its worth it for free points!!! Plus even if you dont qualify you still get 10 - 50 points depending on the survey! Bzz Bzz Bzz - I to am a Bzz agent actually in three Bzz's right now - you can get a gift card pretty quick! Do bxxs and reviews as well as Bzz agent Surveys! I dont by anything online without 1st checking My Points! Travel included!!!! :) It really helps to get people you know on board to mypoints as you get a portion of thier points they earn - I havent done very good at this but its a good and easy way to earn points. Also print coupons and use them tons of points there plus your saving money (it does take a while for the coupon points to show up). Search the net on My points... even if you really dont have anything to search for you earn monthly bonus points. Watch for the SPIN the wheel events (there is one now with coupons) takes 2 seconds I havent gotten anything yet but last time i got over 1000 points total for the wheel spins... :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE mypoints!!!

I focus soley on Mypoints I used to do several but found it too time comsuming and spread myself too thin... I have earned over 200,000 points on mypoints over the last few years and LOVE the gift cards!!! They are great for Gifts and to help with budgets! We are buidling a house and I have been using all the points I can for Lowes and Home Depot and its WONDERFUL!!!!

Just got an email from My Points. It is a coupon for Raid Bug Guard. If you use the coupon at Walmart and fax the receipt in, you get 1000 points.

I do not know the cost of the item. But my daughter lives in an apartment and could use this.

This is my third coupon that will give me 1000 points in the last month.

I love Mypoints. I've been using it for a few years and have cashed in over 100k points, which usually go toward Christmas presents every year.

For the surveys, I discovered that whenever I checked off that I worked in Marketing, it would disqualify me, so now I no longer do that... I'm not involved in surveys in my job so I figure my opinion is valid no matter where I work! I just did that for an Oreo packaging survey and they keep sending me FREE OREOS! I am in heaven!!!

I also did the Blockbuster thing. Join Blockbuster for free for a month and then after they charge your card for the second month, you get 2,500 points. After awhile, I cancel and then do the same thing with Netflix. This is good only if you were PLANNING to join in the first place-- it really doesn't make sense if you don't rent movies.

I don't buy a huge amount of stuff online, but when I do, I make sure to check mypoints first beforehand.

And I average receiving about 20 emails a week that have the "click for 5 points" thing. That 100 points every week does add up!

I've been doing MyPoints for a few years-at least. I've been happy with it. Much of our meals will be purchased with Disney gift cards that I got using the Walgreens $50 gift cards redeemed through MyPoints!
I recently earned 20,000 points by purchasing DirecTv through their link!!!
I have done the offers with coupons that you fax the receipts and got good points that way.
I even bought a dishwasher through them and Home Depot to earn points!
Any time that I had a problem with redemption, they fixed it when I notified them. Of course they are cautious and they make sure you earned the points first.;)
MyPoints and QuickRewards have been my best earners.

Thank you!! Obviously I don't read the fine print! I had no idea those existed! I had noticed recently that only "certain" emails are now worth 5 points - used to be they were all 5 points!

Do you happen to remember the other products? I might still have the email in my old mail folder :) - thanks!

Off to get some bug spray!

One was for Pledge and the other was get a free Glade candle with a purchase. I do not recall the exact wording on the purchase. I think it was a twin pack oil.

I now have a MacBook with Safari and can no longer use my MyPoints toolbar.:sad1: Does anyone with a Mac know if I can still click through my MyPoints e-mails or am I out of luck completely?
