If we go in mid-November, will it be warm enough for swimming?

We want to take advantage of the great pools at the resorts, so I'm wondering if we go in November if the weather will be too chilly for mid-day swimming? Our boys will be 2 and 4 years old.

Thanks!
:)

In November it has been my experience that it is plenty warm for swimming at any time of the day! Even late at night. The pools are open, the slides close.

It might, or might not. The weather can change daily. We go in late November, and we almost always have a few days of swimming. The pools are heated, and my kids will swim in 60 to 70 degree weather. We just bring big towels to wrap up in afterwards. Sometimes we get weather in the 80's. You never know. :confused3

Are all the slides closed? Will the pirate ship at CBR's kiddie pool be open? I guess I'm confused about the slides being closed?

Sorry about that - I meant the slides close at night. They are open during the day year round as far as I know unless they are scheduled for maintenance.

I believe closing time for the slide is when the pool officially closes and the lifeguards go home.

We went last November. We had some days in the 80s (we swam) and some days it barely made it to 60s (we didn't swim). There's no way to know what you will have for sure, but you will probably have some swimming days!

I agree with the PP- we were also there last November. Had some lovely warm days and swam comfortably. Also had a few chilly days where we enjoyed the hot tub and then ran for our towels!
It could go either way. I would recommend bringing nice coverups for the walk back if it's a bit cooler.
Kids won't care and will swim no matter the temp.!

We went late September/early October last year and our boys ages 4, 15, and 12 at the time didn't care how chilly the water was they swam anyway. My sister and I on the other hand were in there 5 minutes and we were done, but that could just be because we are older and swimming isn't a necessity for us or we are just old fuddy duddies. LOL.:rotfl2:

When we went at Thanksgiving one year, there were days that we swam and there were days that we wore hats and gloves! Just be prepared for anything. The pool at the Polynesian was heated, so the kids didn't seem to mind.

It truly is hit or miss. last year it even got down to 40 degrees.... October is better for being sure you can swim.

We went a week and half ago.the first two days or so we could have swam it was about 90*, but no time. Then the last 4 days it seemed to never stop raining and was about 60*. THe pool at Riverside behind us was over the the pavement level. The pool is raised about 5 inches above the walkway and the water reached that height from the torential rains.

It rained so hard at AnimalKingdom the safarri was closed due to high water levels. the last two days were a total rain out and two others were spent in ponchos and wet shoes.

As we drove out of FL it was more rain. Daytona speedway we stopped at, the next day the tunnel was flooded. Parts of I 95 were closed at times. So even the rain is an issue over the warmth,

Well I am sure its a hit or miss...

We went to WDW in 2006.....and OH MY GOSH it was SO COLD and windy.....enough to blur your vision and I am a warm natured person but was FREEZING - had to layer my clothes. We had packed shorts/capris/and needed coats/hats/gloves/sweatshirts almost the entire time we were there (over Thanksgiving).

We tried getting in the pool...and it was heated (we rented a house that time offsite) but the trip to/from the house was BITTER and BRRRRRRR cold.

So just come prepared that it might be cold....and GOOD LUCK!
