do we still have to allow 3 hours in the morning.

Normally we arrive with three hours to spare prior to the flight and we have breakfast at Frankie and Benny's. However, I can pre book a buffet breakfast at our hotel for all four of us for £29. It cost £24 at Frankie and Benny's just for me and my husband in November.

Our flight is at 11.15 and the hotel start serving breakfast at 6am. Just thought we could have a slightly later wake up time and say breakfast at 7.30am. Then get the shuttle bus about 8.45 am. Staying at the Arora which is only about 10 mins away from the airport, possibly less but can't quite remember.

They tell you to be at the airport an hour and half before.

We have breakfast at the hotel before travelling.

When we do twighlight check-in we get to into the airport a max of around 2 hours before the flight. If we're staying at the Hilton or Sofitel it's more like 90 mins.

Can take a while to get through security and then there are all the duty free shops to browse round once in the departure area

It's also quite a trek to the Virgin gates.

Duty free, I am girl on a mission, 0 - £150 in a blink of an eye at the Estee Lauder counter and I am done, mind you in the market for some perfume as well.
