How would you spend your Disneyland vacation if $$ was no object?

I'd choose a night (or two!) in the Fairy Tale Suite and a VIP tour guide! You?

It would depend, with my daughters, the Adventureland Suite, with my granddaughter, Mickey's Penthouse, by myself, Fairytale suite. Of course VIP guides.

Or just rent out the park for an evening and invite my closest friends...

If money was no object at all, I would donate enough money to a charity to have at least 1 night in the Dream Suite and then the rest of the vacation in the Adventureland Suite. Premier annual pass, Club 33 meals (cause I would have enough money to have a membership ::yes::), Fantasmic dessert seating, Napa Rose & Carthay Circle meals. After the DLR vacation is over, fly first class to WDW and spend time there staying at the Polynesian.

Can you tell I've thought about this before? :rotfl2:

A week at the Disneyland Hotel, 5 day park hoppers, the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour, dinner at Carthay Circle, that's all I got off the top of my head.

Usually when we go we stay with my parents and try to cram it all in in one day.

If money was truly no object, I would call vacation planning and tell them, money is no object..This is what we like, this is what we don't.. Surprise and amaze us.pixiedust:

I love thinking about scenarios like this (even though it will never happen :rotfl:)!

My DLR experience would be part of a round-the-world Disney trip. I would stay at the DLH for at least a week, with a premier AP. I would start each day with a character breakfast, and include lots of extras like tours and dining experiences. And do Fantasmic! as part of the dessert package and WOC as part of the dining package. And stock up on HEAPS of Disney stuff that we can't get in Australia. Oh, and limo transfers to and from the airport for our first class flights please :goodvibes

Hmmm....

We'd stay in Mickey's Penthouse at DLH for two weeks. Our stay would, of course include VIP service each afternoon and evening. Every few days we'd hire a limo to explore other areas of Southern California that we haven't had a chance to see.

Since we're dreaming big, I'd also book the Adventure suite for my oldest and her son, the Fantasy suite for my sister and her husband, and another suite for my mom. I'd be sure to have a different golf course on the schedule each day for my BIL.

Oh, and I would hire a photographer to take all of the pictures each day so I could focus 100% on my family!

Naw, I haven't given this a thought AT ALL! LOL!

I would visit every disney park around the world and stay on property. Eat at the best restraunts! Of course during off season.:hyper:

Mmhhmm. I would stay in the Dream Suite for a few days at Disneyland on the way to Tokyo Disneyland for a few days. I would eat at Chef's table at Napa Rose and Club 33 (as a member of course). That sounds like a good start to that day dream.

This question has been asked before and it's always nice to dream.

My daughter teaches 3rd grade and most of her students live at or near the poverty level.

If money were no object, she and I would take all of her students to DLR for a week. We would fly there (most of them have never been on a plane), do all of the character meals, have all the girls do BBB, etc.

Oh what a lovely dream.

I would probably start at DLR and stay for however long and then proceed to travel East hitting up WDW and then continue onto the overseas parks hitting Hawaii on the way back to DLR.

I'd be a TOTAL BOGART and rent the park(s) for my family and I for 2 days. :rolleyes1

I'd charter a private jet to GET me there so I didn't have to fly commercial airlines (flying tin cans of death ), a 2 week stay in the Adventureland Suite, eat at the best restaurants, the Fantasmic dessert package, the WOC dinner package, and - if money were truly no object - I'd pay whatever it took to have the Disney company provide me and my family somewhere to sit down (not the ground) when viewing all the night shows and parades.

I'd also have a limo service at my beck and call so that I could go off property and experience the other theme parks and SoCal entertainment without having to drive myself places or take public transportation.

ETA: Truth be told though, IF money were really no object, I wouldn't BE in Disneyland. I'd be at Aulani or in WDW.

Hmmm...this is fun! I've going to take some things I've already read above...

I would stay in one of the amazing suites at the DLH. Which one? I love them all (well, from looking at pics online ;))! Maybe a night or two in each? Or swing the Dream suite somehow??

I would do the VIP tour.

I would dine at Club 33!

I would splurge on special souvenirs.

I would hire a photographer to follow us around and take photos so I am actually IN some of the photos ;) and I wouldn't have to worry about taking the photos!

I would include friends in family and pay for their trip. And invite some families from my area that might not have a chance to ever to go the DLR and pay fro their trip anonymously and pay for everything, food, souvenirs, hotel, transportation...whatever their hearts desired.

I would also love to go to ALL the rest of the Disney resorts in the world and stay on property and maybe do a VIP tour there as well.

Mainly, I would love to spread the joy and happiness I experience when I am at the parks! Maybe pick a couple families to surprise with things at the parks. Random acts of kindness. That would be awesome!

OK, I am going to steal this one. :)

That would be awesome. I might be eating at a restaurant, ask the waitstaff to tell me who was there celebrating something - anniversary, birthday, etc - pick a few of them and anonymously pay for their meals. I might look in line behind me at the Dole Whip stand, pick a few families with tired, crabby looking kids who were waiting in line, and tell the counter guy that I would pay for their orders, charge it to my room. Pay for all the balloons being held by the balloon sellers on Main Street one night and tell them that anyone who wanted to buy a balloon that night gets it "free".

That would be so much fun - I'd probably have more fun looking around me for little things to do then I would riding rides - I've done those lots of times. :)

This. My daughter also teaches 3rd grade at a below the poverty level school. None have ever been to Disneyland. (1 has a computer out of 23, most parent don't have a cell phone, let alone a smart phone.) I would love to take them all to Disneyland.

I did something similar when my oldest graduated HS. It was a very small/poor school. (Not as bad as my daughter's school, but close.) His HS football team consisted of 12 kids, 5 were Sr. I ended up taking the seniors to Disneyland over Christmas break. Of the other 4 kids, only 1 had been to Disneyland before (I took him then!) 2 had never stayed in a motel/hotel, adn 1 didn't even own a suitcase/dufflebag. (We stopped at Walmart to transfer his stuff from grocery bags to a suitcase...) I did have to admonish them on the first night of the trip as I noticed all were reading the menu right to left and ordering the cheapest items (football players are not meant to only have salad for dinner... They didn't want my bill to be too high, so had gotten together on this...) They were amazed at the Hilton Anaheim. I don't think most of them had previously seen a hot tub. It was one of the best trips of my life! I would love to do it with 3rd graders.

I think the only big thing that would change would be our hotel! We'd definitely stay onsite, and I wouldn't worry about meal money and over spending as much as I do on our regular trips.

We'd probably splurge like maniacs at Off the Page and end up buying the entire store for our livingroom. And I'd like to do a few tours that I can't bring myself to bite the bullet on now. Honestly, I think that even if we had an unlimited amount of money to spend at Disney I'd still try to budget out our trip ahah.
