If walking, what is the distance from the MGM bus stop to the Boardwalk?

I might want to get to the boardwalk from CBR & I thought my best route would be bus to MGM & then walk. What is the distance of the walk & how long should it take?

I'm not sure about the distance but it took me and my family about 20 minutes to walk the path. It was uncrowded and a very pleasant trip. The boat dock was packed with people trying to leave MGM to head back to the Boardwalk area so we decided to take the walking path. We actually beat the ferryboat! Enjoy!

I'd agree with the fifteen to twenty minute range. We once started walking when a boat left. We beat it to the YC. And it's a very nice walk. Few people seem to take advantage of this path.

One of the DVC members (Caskbill) actually measured the distance from the MGM ticket booth to BWV's Luna Park pool. It's about 2/3 of a mile. I would estimate that the distance from the MGM ticket booth to the bus stop is about the same as the distance from the Luna Park Pool to the Boardwalk itself. So, the question is, how long do you think it will take your group to walk about 2/3 of a mile??

DH used his handy dandy GPS thingy and measured from the BW boat dock to the turnstyles at MGM and came up with 9/10th's of a mile.
