Becci's nearly finished the first one which is a major achievement for her as her literary explorations don't usually get much beyond "Inside Soap" magazine . Show Jess the movie website and suggest that she'd be better reading the book before the movie comes out....that's how I suckered Bex into reading it .

I must be psychic . The library may be a good idea because there are four in the series and if your cunning plan works she'll be hooked and want to read them all

I loved those books. Read them all. The movies coming out in a few months!

The first three books are sitting in my closet. Still haven't read them, though. I may have to succumb to peer pressure and read them.

Maybe I should try and find them for my non-reader DD!

It seems like that series and Harry Potter series have been quite good for getting young folk to read.

Had a pretty good weekend thanks Bev. Having a bit of bother getting Niamh to settle at nursery so that's been a bit of a but apart from that and Bex getting a bit of hassle from girls at school life is just jogging along

Niamh was fine at nursery until she had a wee accident (literally) and it kind of knocked her confidence. Also my in-laws look after her on Thu & Fri and she can wrap them round her little finger so I think alot of it is her thinking if she crys she'll not need to go.....sorry love mummys hard as nails and you will be going, end of story!!

You weren't rude about the Twilight books honey, everyones got their own taste and mine is VERY varied . I have a soft spot for vampires and the supernatural which drew me to Twilight, I also read Sepulcre by Kate Moss while on holiday SPOOKY BUT also fab

Bex is just taking the usual carp off of some girls but it's starting to get a bit physical and Big D recons that if there's any more of it he's going up to the girl in questions door Bex has assured us she's going to sort it (the lesser of two evils ) sad but we all go through this it's just a fact of life I'm afraid.

It's not physical as in punching or kicking but the girl in question has been pushing Bex & Chloe into bramble bushes, squishing a bramble on Bex face and on Friday threw her gym bag on top of a bus stop. Nasty enough though ....

So true! The two weeks after was born, when I wasn't allowed to do anything, I wanted to clean. Now that I have no medical excuse to be a lump, all I want to do is lounge around.

I gave into being lumpy today. I am typing this from bed, under the covers, still in my pj's. That's very out of character for me but I feel wiped out.
