...and they bought it a full month before Halloween and brought it into the house...would you be able to give that candy out to the kids?

Or, would that candy be gone in a couple weeks because it is THE BEST freaking candy on the planet and who could possibly resist it for a whole a freakin month?

Why would anyone bring a bag of that stuff into the house and then be surprised when it is gone a couple weeks later??????

Why?

I put it to you.

Guilty. Christy is still mad at me for bringing the orange bag of joy into the house.

It's a good thing we don't have trick or treaters in our building.

Well since they have peanuts in them, they wouldn't be eaten in our house, but I am sure my husband would take them to work and eat them. He is peanut deprived.

Now Mars bars there is another story..... yummmy.... to avoid this I give out unfrozen freezies.

I bought a BIG bag (110 pieces) of Halloween candy at Sam's Club last weekend because I will get back from WDW on Oct. 30. My son and husband don't know I bought it, and hopefully it will still be in its hiding place when I return!

Of course it wouldn't last until Halloween, you crazy girl! :rotfl: I can't even buy the stuff because I know I will eat every one ... and be feeling like a sloth on my couch surrounded by empty greasy wrappers with my dog staring at me with a look of disgust.

I would give a bag of reese's in my house maybe 3 days tops! :lmao:

We have to buy Halloween candy the day before or the kids wouldn't get any.

We don't even get trick-or-treaters. So why am I buying the Reese's again?

Oh right. Because my DH and I eat it. We think it's the best candy invention ever.

And... seriously? Is it just me or do the miniatures taste better than the regular sized?

The survival rate of the candy depends on if you are talking Reese's Pieces or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The first would last a week and the latter would last a half week at best. I put off buying Halloween candy until the last possible minute since I have zero self control when it comes to quick easy yumminess.

They taste better and are not allowed in my house. I have even been known to sneak them out of the boys stash after Halloween.:confuse

I would eat them all, too... but my dog would be licking the wrappers! And wondering why I didn't share... ;)

I brought a bag into the house 7pm Wednesday night. By 7am it was gone. I did not eat one. The locusts (DH & both DSs) ate it all.

We have a big candy sale at a local store every year about 2 weeks before Halloween. I have to leave it in the trunk of my car. My husband will sniff it out and inhale it. Good thing he rides his bike to work most days! :)

Reese's peanut butter cups...especially the little ones....spontaneously disappear.

They're dangerous.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups don't last in my house either. My DS is not a candy eater except for Reese's PBC so if I buy a bag he'll eat the whole thing. I put them in the frig so they're cold...yummmm!!

In this house, it would get opened in the car on the way home!

I once opened a Reese's while I was driving home. The candy was in the car. It was summer. It was one of those days at work and I really needed it!

Did I mention it was summer and the candy was in the car?

I drank the peanut butter cup!

It is the ratio of peanut butter to chocalate that makes the little ones better.

Plus, you burn more calories unwrapping each of those many tiny little guys.
