If Points Were No Object - Which Room Would You Choose?

I'll never get to do that, but if I was gifted that vacation, I would pick Boardwalk 3 bedroom grand villa because I'd be bringing my two kids and their significant others. I think they'd enjoy Epcot best for some drinking around the world, so Boardwalk would be my choice.

Yes for us the Aulani expansive deck and amazing ocean view 3 bedroom GV was worth it. Hoping to book it again for Feb 2027.

For Disneyland we enjoyed both GVs and of course the location of grand cal is clutch but preferred the one at Disneyland Hotel. That spiral staircase and the primary bath and the huge deck. So good. But yes no pool table there.

A couple pics from our deck at Aulani:
Oh wow! You are so right about those views. Stunning!

I'll have to take a second look at the Disneyland Hotel GV. Maybe I can pool together enough points to be able to have a split stay and enjoy both.

How wonderful that you have been able to enjoy so many grand rooms and resorts. How amazing!

Of course the TOT on the VDH grand villa… $$$

I'll go rogue and say the GV at HHI, specifically Bldg 18 as it's the only one with water views. Beyond that? Working, wood burning fireplace and access to more good to great restaurants in a 2-mile radius than any other Disney resort.

I absolutely loved our AKV Jambo GV 7 night stay last October - those 3 huge balconies are incredible & we’ll be returning to stay in a Jambo GV in late 2027.
Kidani’s GVs are very different from Jambo’s so you can’t really lump them together IMO.
I’d love to stay in a GV at my other home resort - VGF, but the point cost 😱.
The CCV cabins for a smaller group are high on my list of places I’d love to stay.
Good point about AKL Jambo and Kidani being different. I separated those out based on your recommendation.

The CCV cabins are amazing! They are my number 1 place that I have stayed. We would stay there every time if we could afford the points.

I'm excited to see what the A-frames room layout looks like at Lakeshore Lodge. Those will be on my list of places to stay when they are available.

Wow, some really tough choices here!

My choices would be (in order of preference today, but not necessarily tomorrow ;) ):

  1. Riviera GV - We really enjoy the resort and easy access to Epcot
  2. CCV cabins - We often stay at BRV and pass the cabins on our way to Geyser Point. They look like a fun place to stay.
  3. CCV GV - We have friends who stayed in one. The description of the master bathroom alone sounded sublime. :cloud9:
I would select also based on how many will be traveling with us. The cabins have one less bedroom and accommodate 8, I believe. The GVs have room for 12. All of them would be super wonderful for a vacation, though I don’t believe I’d be seeing much of the parks.

Oh wow! I had no idea that the bathroom in the CCV GV was so amazing. That view from the bathtub would be so serene to look at while soaking. Good choice.

Yeah, I'm with you that we probably would spend more time in one of these luxurious rooms than in the parks if we were ever so lucky to get a week in one of these. But, what a sacrifice to make. Lol!
