If only one park, which one??

My husband and I will be going to Daytona Pepsi 400 in July. We have one free day. Which park should we go to? We have never been to DW, but we have been to DL 10 times. Which would you suggest and why? Thanks

I'd say for 2 adults that Epcot would be a good for you. There are nice restaurants in world showcase. You can have a nice romantic walk in France, nice meal in Mexico, see the movie at Canada, & a boat ride in Norway.

Also there plenty to do in the rest of Epcot like test track & mission space!

I would suggest EPCOT because it is very different from DL. We enjoy the World Showcase countries a lot. Plus, there are plenty of fun things to do in Future World as well.

If you were never at DL before, I would suggest the MK. However, since you have already experienced DL I agree Epcot is the way to go. The food is the best by far, it is the largest park, and there is plenty to do.

Can you get a park hopper pass and visit 2-3 parks?
MK, Epcot and MGM?
That's what I would do if I only had one day.

As a veteran WDW visitor and a recent, first-time DL visitor. I say...MK! Yes, the parks are similar, but they are really very different. And, I say, there is nothing like seeing the magnificient Cinderella castle! While the general layout and attractions are similar, if you are a true Disney fan, you'll love the differences of the MK! Just my thoughts....if you are looking for a different, more adult visit, EPCOT is the place to go!

i know i am in the minority but i have to put my 2 cents in for MGM!! that is my fav park, (not that i didn't love love love them all) but for some reason it just put me in my happy place,lol. loved the rides there, ToT and Rnr, loved all the diff shows they had. the parade was my fav (but we are into cars too). and it had a few fun places to eat (sci-fi)

no matter which one you pick, you are sure to have a magical time and wish for more!!

Many DL veterans are disappointed with the Magic Kingdom. They find it less intimate and charming with fewer overall attractions, because some of these attractions are found at other theme parks at WDW. They find things where they aren't supposed to be, like coming home drunk and finding someone had rearranged the furniture.

For that reason, I'd suggest Epcot. It's nothing like the MK or DLR. It has a great personality of its own, partly educational and entirely entertaining. It also has the longest operating hours, so you can jam in a lot in one day, including the finest restaurants in the whole Walt Disney World. Do not be afraid that your children won't like it, it's my kids favorite park.

I have been to the DL MK and the WDW MK and I thought they were very different. I would try and check it out if you have a park hopper. Personally I like it better than DL.
