Sorry you are having such a rotten day.

We had a box alder bug infestation several years ago. It lasted all winter It was just awful! The year after I amde DH spray insecticide in every nook and cranny when the bugs were started to come inside. That solved our problem. But we are staying with FIL for a couple of months while we are renovating and he has them. My kids and cats freak out whenever they see one.

I thought the little lady bug (or whatever they are called) things would go away when it got cold out.

They seem to be in and near the bathroom.

I wonder if they like moisture.

I've taken a lot of pleasure in crushing them and flushing them down the toilet today.

DH better be in a good mood tonight or I'm flushing him down the toilet.

Hi, neighbor! I see you're in East Lansing, I'm about 40 miles north of you!!

We have ladybugs too. I heard they like to come INSIDE when it starts getting cold OUTSIDE, and they will stay until it gets warm again OUTSIDE then they'll go back out. My daughter had them in their house, she put bay leaves on the windowsills and they went away. I keep forgetting to buy some....
