If one makes a Palo's ressie and then can't make it, can you give it to someone else?

I was thinking about making Palo's ressies, but I'm not certain that at least one of my children will decide not to go to the clubs that night...or my 2 yr old will cry in Flounder's. If that happens, can I give my ressie to a specific person (say, a fellow DISer or perhaps someone we meet who was unable to get Palo's ressies)? Just wondering.

I never thought of that! Interesting idea...

I know that we were never asked for any type of ID at Palo's, so I suppose anyone could use a ressie. Maybe just have them say they are you, ya know? I see no reason why that couldn't be done. The only time it might come up is when they pay the bill, and the name on the KTTW card is different from the name on the ressie. But by then, it's too late anyway, isn't it? ;)

But I wouldn't want to pay for their dinner! :D The joke would then be on ME!

This is just something that had occured to me and I hadn't seen it discussed anywhere on these boards. I'd love to be able to get to dine peacefully at Palo's, but I'm concerned about my sometimes clingy kids. (I don't mind that they cling, don't get me wrong. All too soon they'll be way too independent and won't need mom at all.:( )

Does anyone else know if you can transfer a ressie to someone?

Don't miss Palos. Just tell your kids ahead of time that that 2 hours is for you and your spouse and that's final. The food and service is awesome.

Before we went, we didn't think it would be a big deal if we missed it or wasn't able to get a resv. but now we both agree that on our next cruise, Palo's is a must.
