If not using DCL tranfers on Land & Sea what about luggage?

We are driving to WDW for our land & sea cruise and I was wondering if since we are not using the DCL transfers but driving to the port is there the option of DCL tranporting our luggage like they usually do with the transfers. Also how do the luggage tags work with us driving ourselves on the land & sea? Also on another note if we wanted to add the transfers when we got there and leave the car at WDW is that possible. Thanks so much

We drove ourselves as well and placed the ship tags on when we left the AKL. We actually packed two sets of luggage and left the WDW items in the van. It made it so much easier and less crowded.

As for purchasing the transfers, I can not help you with that. Have a great trip.

Thanks fairygod mother. It is nice to know that we can have them take our luggage . WE are planing on leaving some luggage in the car (like the dirty cloths ones) so that we have less to handle.

Does anyone else know if you can buy transfers when you get there if you change your mind and are you able to leave your vehicle at a resort (i.e. BC) Thanks eveyone so much

You can definately purchase transers at the airport, WDW or at the port. Just seek out a DCL CM for the first two and at the port you can purchase them last minute at guest service desk onboard.

Sorry, but you may only use the DCL to handle your luggage if you purchase transfers or the "luggage-only" transfers (yes, that is an option). You can probably fool DCL into taking your bags if you put on the DCL tags, however if it is discovered or something goes wrong, you will have no recourse (or underwear).
